An e-liquid is a consumable exclusively intended for the e-cigarette. The 100 ml format is aimed at regular and experienced vapers who want to enjoy their favourite flavour in a very large format, without having to restock too often.
Cost-effective in the long run, the 100 ml format allows you to reduce the cost per millilitre, while limiting packaging and repeated refills. Like the 50 ml formats, it is available in a ready-to-boost version: nicotine-free at purchase, but with enough space to add several boosters depending on the desired strength.
It is the ideal format for intensive vapers, fans of "all-day" flavours, or those who simply want to vape for longer, without any hassle.
Fewer constraints, more battery life, more enjoyment: the 100 ml ticks all the boxes for a comfortable and economical vape.
A 100 ml e-liquid can be vaped as is, without nicotine.
However, for occasional to moderate smokers, it is possible to add 20 mg/ml nicotine boosters to obtain a suitable dosage without altering the flavours.
You obtain an e-liquid ready to vape at 1.5 mg/ml.
You obtain an e-liquid at 3 mg/ml, perfectly balanced.
This dosage requires a larger volume than that of the original bottle.
You obtain an e-liquid ready to vape at 6 mg/ml.
For high dosages, the use of a graduated bottle is strongly recommended to ensure a homogeneous and safe mixture.
E-liquids with a predominance of vegetable glycerin (VG) stand out for their thicker texture and their ability to produce dense and generous vapour. They offer a smoother throat sensation and are particularly popular among vapers who enjoy direct lung (DL) vaping and large clouds.
Due to their high viscosity, these e-liquids require powerful subohm e-cigarettes, such as:
For optimal e-liquid feed and to avoid dry hits, it is recommended to use subohm clearomisers, designed for thick liquids:
Low resistances, ranging between 0.15 ohm and 0.4 ohm, are ideal for efficiently vaporising an e-liquid high in VG.
A wide 810-format drip tip is recommended to facilitate direct inhalation and allow a large volume of vapour through.
E-liquids high in VG perform best at high power.
Vaping above 40 watts is recommended, while of course following the coil manufacturer's guidelines.
To preserve the flavours and ensure an optimal vape:
Think about recycling: empty bottles must be disposed of through appropriate waste streams.

An e-liquid (or liquid for e-cigarettes) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an e-cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is composed of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It determines the taste, the throat sensation, the cloud production, and the overall vaping experience.
An e-liquid generally contains four elements:
Some formulas also use alternative vegetable bases (Végétol) for a smoother experience.
An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who wish to replace the traditional cigarette. Nicotine acts on the sensation of satisfaction and limits cravings. E-liquids without nicotine are used either at the end of a cessation programme, or purely for the pleasure of vaping, even though it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine level is essential to avoid a poor experience (irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. A level that is too low can lead to frustration and relapse, while a level that is too high can cause throat discomfort. The aim is to find a balance between hit, sensation and vaping comfort, adjusting progressively as needed. We generally recommend a low dosage of 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine for light smokers or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml of nicotine salt for a heavy smoker (1 packet of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted depending on your e-cigarette and your vaping style.
Nicotine salt is a more stable and smoother form of nicotine to inhale. It provides rapid absorption with a less aggressive throat hit, even at high levels. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers and low-wattage MTL kits. Various nicotine salt dosages are available. The best known and most effective is 20 mg/ml, which is very well suited to heavy smokers. However, a dosage of 10 mg/ml can be perfectly suitable for a regular or occasional smoker.
A nicotine booster is a nicotine-concentrated bottle designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine level according to the quantity added. Flexible and economical, this solution allows you to boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine booster will give you 3 mg/ml; two nicotine boosters will turn your e-liquid into a 6 mg/ml.
The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerin ratio strongly influences the vaping experience.
The choice therefore depends on the power and compatibility with your e-cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Balanced, it allows versatile use on MTL, RDL and light DTL e-cigarette models (between approximately 15 and 40 watts).
Vegetable-based or Végétol e-liquids replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers who are sensitive to PG, and offer a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL mode at low wattage (30 watts minimum) to avoid leaking and to preserve the quality of the product.
Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally do not contain nicotine. They offer a different sensation, focused on relaxation, without any addictive effect. They should be used at moderate wattage to preserve the quality of the product. We recommend using them with a tight-draw MTL e-cigarette.
E-liquids are considered a far healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from ingredients certified as safe for health, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as buying your e-liquid from a recognised retailer like Le Vapoteur Discount, or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and regulated brands.
An e-liquid manufactured in France meets strict requirements and European directives regarding traceability, quality control and safety. As a mark of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formula and are required to have this formulation assessed by an independent laboratory before it is placed on the market. All these steps guarantee e-liquids that are safe for vapers. These French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.
To keep your e-liquid for as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste and colour, you should keep it in its original bottle and ideally away from light, heat and air. Despite these precautions, it can happen that the e-liquid takes on a slightly brown tint. Safe and suitable for consumption, this colour is due to the oxidation of nicotine and can also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally recommended not to keep the same e-liquid for more than 5 days in your clearomiser or pod cartridge if you are not using it, to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.
The BBD (Best Before Date) or MHD (Minimum Durability Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and its appearance (colour, consistency). An e-liquid straight from the factory will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even after the BBD has passed, the e-liquid remains suitable for vaporisation and will not be harmful to health.
