Un e-liquide (ou liquide pour cigarette électronique) est le produit qui permet de générer de la vapeur lorsqu’il est chauffé par la résistance d’une cigarette électronique. Contrairement aux cigarettes traditionnelles, il n’y a pas de combustion. Le e-liquide est composé d’une base (propylène glycol et glycérine végétale), d’arômes, et éventuellement de nicotine. C’est lui qui détermine le goût, la sensation en gorge, la production de nuage, et l’expérience de vape globale.

Un e-liquide contient généralement quatre éléments :
  • le propylène glycol (PG), qui véhicule les arômes, renforce le hit en gorge et apporte une sensation proche de la cigarette ;
  • la glycérine végétale (VG), responsable de la vapeur et de la densité du nuage ;
  • les arômes, qui donnent la saveur (fruit, menthe, classic blond, gourmand, ice…) ;
  • la nicotine, optionnelle, qui aide à gérer le manque chez les vapoteurs en sevrage.
Certaines formules utilisent aussi des bases végétales alternatives (Végétol) pour plus de douceur.

Le sel de nicotine est une forme de nicotine plus stable et plus douce à l’inhalation. Il procure une absorption rapide, avec un hit en gorge moins agressif, même à fort taux. Les e-liquides au sel de nicotine sont particulièrement adaptés aux vapoteurs débutants, aux anciens gros fumeurs et aux kits à faible puissance en MTL. Il existe différents dosages de sel de nicotine. Le plus connu et efficace étant le 20 mg/ml, très adapté pour les gros fumeurs. Mais un dosage en 10 mg/ml pourra très bien convenir à un fumeur régulier ou occasionnel.

Un booster de nicotine est un flacon concentré en nicotine, conçu pour être ajouté à un e-liquide grand format. Il permet d’ajuster le taux de nicotine final selon la quantité ajoutée. Flexible et économique, cette solution permet de booster votre eliquide grand format en 3 ou 6 mg/ml de nicotine. Pour un eliquide 50 ml, ajouter un booster de nicotine permettra d'obtenir du 3 mg/ml, deux boosters de nicotine transformeront votre eliquide en 6 mg/ml.

Le ratio propylène glycol / glycérine végétale influence fortement la vape.
  • Un e-liquide riche en propylène glycol ou PG (70/30, 80/20) favorise le hit, la précision des arômes et une vape discrète. Le eliquide sera fluide et compatible uniquement avec du matériel MTL au tirage serré pour éviter les fuites.
