An e-liquid (or liquid for e-cigarettes) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an e-cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerin ratio strongly influences the vaping experience.

• An e-liquid rich in propylene glycol or PG (70/30, 80/20) enhances the throat hit, flavour accuracy and a discreet vape. The e-liquid will be fluid and compatible only with MTL devices with a tight draw to avoid leaks.
• An e-liquid rich in vegetable glycerin or VG (30/70) produces more vapour and clouds, with a smoother, sweeter sensation. This thicker e-liquid will be compatible with sub-ohm or shisha-type e-cigarettes, producing large vapour clouds at high wattage.

E-liquids with a vegetable base or containing Végétol replace traditional propylene glycol. It is generally recommended not to keep the same e-liquid in your clearomiser or pod cartridge for more than 5 days if you are not using it, in order to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.

The DLUO (Date Limite d'Utilisation Optimale) or BBD (Best Before Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and appearance (colour, consistency). A factory-fresh e-liquid will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even past its BBD, the e-liquid remains fit for vaporisation and will not be harmful to health.
