Frosted Red Fruits 10 ml - LiquidArom
The Le Vapoteur Discount guide to choosing your 10 ml e-liquid
Essential for any electronic cigarette, the e-liquid is the heart of your vaping experience. The 10 ml format is currently the only one permitted to contain nicotine under European regulations. Compact, practical and easy to carry, it allows you to try a flavour, adjust your nicotine level or vape daily with ease.
It is also the ideal format to support a reduction or cessation of tobacco use, at your own pace.
What nicotine level should you choose for your e-liquid?
The right nicotine level depends above all on your smoker profile and your habits. The aim is to satisfy the craving without discomfort, while maintaining an enjoyable vape.
-
Light smoker (fewer than 5 cigarettes per day)
0 to 6 mg/ml
A gentle dosage, sufficient to curb the urge to smoke while providing a light throat sensation. -
Moderate smoker (5 to 15 cigarettes per day)
6 to 12 mg/ml
An ideal balance to rediscover a sensation close to a traditional cigarette, without frustration. -
Heavy smoker (more than 15 cigarettes per day)
12 to 18 mg/ml
A higher level, designed to meet a significant nicotine need, particularly at the start of quitting. -
Heavy smoker (more than 20 cigarettes per day)
18 to 20 mg/ml
The maximum permitted dosage, often associated with nicotine salts, for faster absorption and a smoother sensation.
These indications remain guidelines: every vaper is unique. Your personal experience, the throat hit and the device used may lead you to adjust your dosage.
What equipment should you use with a fluid PG-rich e-liquid (80/20 to 60/40)?
Thanks to their high propylene glycol content, these e-liquids are fluid, highly aromatic and deliver a marked throat hit. They are perfectly suited to indirect (MTL) vaping, close to the sensation of a cigarette.
Electronic cigarette
E-liquids rich in PG perform at their best on compact devices focused on flavour delivery, such as:
- Wenax M2 Kit by GeekVape: an extremely compact and elegant tube format;
- Aegis Solo 3 MTL Kit by GeekVape: a more substantial box format, but extremely robust;
- GTX One Pro Kit by Vaporesso: the modern version of Vaporesso's best-seller in a compact box format;
- Drag S3 Kit by Voopoo: a halfway point between a box mod and a pod with excellent battery life.
Pods
They also work very well with high-performance pods that are easy to use:
- Pixo Neo Kit by Aspire: a device with incredible flavour delivery, fitted with a good 1300 mAh battery;
- Argus G3 Kit by Voopoo: Voopoo's best-seller in a highly refined design;
- Klypse Pro Kit by Innokin: a long, slim pod fitted with a drip tip guard.
Clearomisers
For optimal flavour reproduction, opt for MTL-oriented clearomisers, such as:
- Z Nano MTL by GeekVape: an excellent GeekVape clearomiser with a tight draw;
- Q16 Pro by Justfog: a timeless clearomiser, long, slim and practical for everyday use;
- Nautilus 3SR by Aspire: the new generation Nautilus for connoisseurs.
Coils
Ideally, small coils between 1.2 ohm and 1.8 ohm are preferred, for a smooth, economical and flavourful vape.
Drip tip mouthpiece
A drip tip slim, elongated 510 is recommended to concentrate the flavours and enhance the sensation in the mouth.
What wattage should you vape at?
E-liquids rich in PG do not require high wattage.
Vaping at under 20 watts is more than sufficient to fully enjoy the flavours, while extending the life of the coils.
Properly maintaining your electronic cigarette
Regular maintenance is essential to ensure a clean, flavourful and long-lasting vape:
- Regularly clean the clearomiser and the drip tip to avoid the build-up of residue;
- Replace the coil as soon as flavours deteriorate or vapour production decreases (on average every 2 to 3 weeks) and take the opportunity to thoroughly clean your clearomiser;
- Avoid leaving a tank filled with the same e-liquid for more than 5 days without use, to limit the risk of leaks or flavour deterioration.
Safety precautions
- If you do not smoke, do not vape;
- Product containing nicotine: prohibited for minors, not recommended for pregnant women or people suffering from cardiovascular disorders or high blood pressure;
- If you have allergies, check for the possible presence of allergens (limonene, tree nuts, etc.) indicated on the label;
- If contact with skin occurs, rinse thoroughly with water and soap;
- Store your e-liquids in a dry place, away from light and temperature variations, out of reach of children and pets.
Think about recycling: empty bottles should be disposed of through appropriate channels.

FAQ
An e-liquid (or electronic cigarette liquid) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an electronic cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is composed of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It is what determines the taste, throat sensation, cloud production, and overall vaping experience.
An e-liquid generally contains four elements:
- propylene glycol (PG), which carries the flavourings, enhances the throat hit, and provides a sensation close to that of a cigarette;
- vegetable glycerin (VG), responsible for the vapour and the density of the cloud;
- flavourings, which provide the taste (fruit, mint, classic tobacco, dessert, ice…);
- nicotine, optional, which helps manage cravings for vapers who are quitting smoking.
Some formulas also use alternative vegetable bases (Végétol) for extra smoothness.
A nicotine e-liquid is intended for vapers who wish to replace traditional cigarettes. Nicotine acts on the sensation of satisfaction and reduces cravings. Nicotine-free e-liquids are used either at the end of a cessation programme or purely for the pleasure of vaping, although it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. The choice of nicotine level is essential to avoid a poor experience (irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. A level that is too low can lead to frustration and relapse, while a level that is too high can cause throat discomfort. The aim is to find a balance between throat hit, sensation and vaping comfort, adjusting gradually as needed. A low dosage of 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine is generally recommended for light smokers or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml nicotine salt for heavy smokers (one pack of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted depending on your e-cigarette and your vaping style.
Nicotine salt is a more stable form of nicotine that is gentler on inhalation. It provides rapid absorption with a less aggressive throat hit, even at high strengths. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly well suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers and low-power MTL kits. Various nicotine salt dosages are available. The best-known and most effective is 20 mg/ml, highly suitable for heavy smokers. However, a dosage of 10 mg/ml may suit regular or occasional smokers very well.
A nicotine booster is a nicotine-concentrated bottle designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine level according to the quantity added. Flexible and cost-effective, this solution allows you to boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine booster will give you 3 mg/ml; two nicotine boosters will bring your e-liquid to 6 mg/ml.
The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerine ratio strongly influences the vaping experience.
- An e-liquid rich in propylene glycol or PG (70/30, 80/20) enhances throat hit, flavour precision and a discreet vape. The e-liquid will be fluid and compatible only with MTL equipment with a tight draw to avoid leaks.
- An e-liquid rich in vegetable glycerine or VG (30/70) produces more vapour and clouds, with a softer, sweeter sensation. This thicker e-liquid is compatible with sub-ohm or shisha-type e-cigarettes, producing large vapour clouds at high power.
The choice therefore depends on the power and compatibility with your e-cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Well-balanced, it allows versatile use across MTL, RDL and light DTL e-cigarette models (approximately between 15 and 40 watts).
E-liquids with a vegetable base or containing Végétol replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers who are sensitive to PG, and provide a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL mode at low power (minimum 30 watts) to avoid the risk of leaks and to preserve the quality of the product.
Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally contain no nicotine. They offer a different sensation, focused on relaxation, with no addictive effect. They should be used at moderate power to preserve the quality of the product. For best results, use them with a mouth-to-lung (MTL) e-cigarette with a tight draw.
E-liquids are considered a far healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from ingredients certified as safe for health, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as purchasing your e-liquid from a recognised retailer like Le Vapoteur Discount, or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and regulated brands.
An e-liquid manufactured in France complies with strict requirements and European directives regarding traceability, quality control and safety. As a guarantee of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formulas and are required to have these formulations assessed by an independent laboratory before going to market. All these steps ensure that e-liquids are safe for vapers. These French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.
To keep your e-liquid for as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste and colour, store it in its original bottle, ideally away from light, heat and air. Despite these precautions, the e-liquid may take on a slightly brown tint. Safe and fit for consumption, this colour is due to the oxidation of nicotine and may also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally advised not to keep the same e-liquid in your clearomiser or pod cartridge for more than 5 days if you are not using it, to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.
The BBD (Best Before Date) or MHD (Minimum Durability Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and appearance (colour, fluidity). An e-liquid fresh from the factory will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even past its BBD, the e-liquid remains safe to vaporise and will not be harmful to health.
