• Other Dotcoils: compatible depending on your habits (0.7 ohm, 0.9 ohm).

How to change the coil on the DotTank Max clearomizer?

The clearomizer offers easy and clean bottom coil replacement.

To change the coil:

• Unscrew the bottom of the clearomizer (bottom cap);
• Remove the old coil using the tool provided in the kit (if necessary);
• Insert a new coil into the chimney;
• Close the bottom of the clearomizer by screwing it back on;
• Prime the coil.

How do I prime my coil?

Every new coil must be properly primed before use, or it risks being damaged (strong burnt taste).

A coil consists of cotton, which must always be saturated with e-liquid, and a heating wire (coil or mesh) that vaporizes the e-liquid. If there is not enough liquid in the cotton, the coil or mesh will vaporize the cotton, resulting in a very strong burnt taste.

To prime a coil:

• Place a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the coil's cotton before installation;
• Once installed, fill the tank with e-liquid at a suitable PG/VG ratio;
• Take 3 or 4 dry puffs: inhale firmly without pressing the fire button;
• Wait approximately 10 minutes before vaping for the first time.

When should you change the coil?

A coil is a consumable product that deteriorates over the course of your vaping and must be changed frequently for safe and healthy vaping. We recommend changing it every 10 days to 3 weeks depending on how frequently you vape.

When the coil is too worn, it shows signs of weakness:

• Persistent burnt taste;
• Alteration of your e-liquid's flavors (more acidic, ashy taste);
• Different and prolonged crackling sounds.

How to maintain and clean my DotTank Max clearomizer?

The clearomizer is a durable product that can be kept for several years provided it is well maintained. All parts of the clearomizer can be disassembled and cleaned with warm soapy water, then dried with a soft cloth (except for the coil).

We recommend fully disassembling and cleaning your clearomizer at least once a month to remove dust and residue that could damage your coils and alter flavors.

The mouthpiece or drip tip can be cleaned as frequently as needed and at least once a week.
