The Innokin Coolfire Z80 Zenith 2 Kit pairs the Coolfire Z80 box mod with a Zenith 2 clearomiser of 5.5 ml. Powered by a removable 18650 battery, this e-cigarette offers adjustable power of up to 80 W and several operating modes to adapt the vape to different coil types and draw styles.
With its compact format, screen, adjustment buttons and clearomiser with adjustable airflow, the Coolfire Z80 kit is suitable for both MTL (mouth-to-lung) vaping and a more airy draw depending on the coil used. The 18650 battery is not included with the kit and must be purchased separately.

The Coolfire Z80 follows the principle of a box mod with a removable battery. Unlike an e-cigarette fitted with a built-in battery, it operates with an interchangeable 18650 battery. This configuration allows you to have a second charged battery on hand to extend the use of the device.
The box mod delivers power between 6 and 80 W and features a 510 connector allowing the use of the Zenith 2 clearomiser included in the kit. Its screen displays in particular the power, the coil resistance and the battery level.
The Coolfire Z80 can be occasionally charged via its USB-C port, with a stated charging current of 1.7 A. However, for regular charging of 18650 batteries, Innokin recommends using a suitable external charger.
Innokin equips its box mod with several modes to allow the vaper to personalise their experience.
The Watt mode is the simplest setting to control the power sent to the coil. Simply select a wattage value suited to the installed coil.
For first use, it is recommended to start at the lower end of the wattage range indicated on the coil, then gradually increase according to the draw and vapour production desired.
The Volt mode allows you to adjust the voltage delivered by the battery. It is aimed more at vapers who wish to precisely control the settings of their e-cigarette.
The F0 mode is one of the distinctive features of the Coolfire Z80. It operates on an alternating frequency principle and allows the heating behaviour of the coil to be adapted.
Innokin indicates frequency ranges of 51 to 100 Hz for MTL and 20 to 50 Hz for DL.
The Refresh mode performs a specific heating of the coil to promote cotton saturation. This function can be accessed from the box mod menu and complements the settings available on the Coolfire Z80.

The Zenith 2 clearomiser accompanies the Coolfire Z80 box mod. Its tank has a capacity of 5.5 ml in this configuration and features a top-fill system.
The Zenith 2 also features an adjustable airflow ring. Adjusting the airflow allows for a more or less open draw depending on the coil used and the vaper's habits.
The tank is compatible with coils from the Z-Coil / Zenith family, making it possible to change the vaping style according to the ohm value chosen.
The kit comes with two coils to allow you to discover different vaping styles.
The Zenith 0.8 ohm coil is suited to MTL mouth-to-lung inhalation. It is used within a range of 15 to 18 W.
This configuration is particularly suited to vapers looking for a relatively tight draw with moderate vapour production. It can be paired with e-liquids with a nicotine level suited to this style of vaping.
The Z Coil 0.3 ohm coil operates between 30 and 40 W. Its low ohm value favours a more airy RDL-style inhalation and greater vapour production than the 0.8 ohm coil.
This coil is better suited to e-liquids with a low nicotine content.
The coil is a consumable part that must be replaced when it reaches the end of its life. A decrease in flavour reproduction, a burnt taste or a reduction in vapour may indicate that it is time to change the coil.
To replace the coil:
The lifespan of a coil depends in particular on the type of liquid, the power used and the frequency of vaping.
The kit contains:
Please note: the 18650 battery required for the box mod to function is not included in the kit.
Only use a suitable 18650 battery in good condition. Transport batteries separately in a protective case to avoid any contact with metal objects.
Always observe the wattage range indicated on the coil. If your coil has a burnt taste, replace it and do not continue vaping with a damaged coil.
If you do not smoke, do not vape. Products containing nicotine are intended exclusively for adults and must be kept out of reach of children.

The difference between an MTL (Mouth To Lung) and a DTL (Direct To Lung) e-cigarette relates to the type of inhalation. With MTL, the vapour is first held in the mouth before being inhaled, just like with a traditional cigarette. With DTL, the vapour is inhaled directly into the lungs, producing a larger volume of vapour, similar to a shisha. MTL is often recommended for new vapers who want to quit smoking, while DTL is aimed at more experienced vapers who have already successfully made the transition from tobacco to vaping.
For beginners, it is advisable to choose an e-cigarette that is easy to use, with few settings, moderate power and a tight draw (MTL). Pod kits or beginner kits are generally the most suitable for a successful first experience. However, some new vapers, who are comfortable with settings and maintenance, may prefer to move towards more advanced and adjustable equipment. It all depends on each person's comfort level.
A heavy smoker will need a reliable e-cigarette offering good battery life (between 1200 and 5000 mAh) and a tight draw to better absorb nicotine and avoid cravings. Versatile kits compatible with MTL and RDL (tight or slightly airy draw) are often an excellent compromise for an effective transition to vaping. This e-cigarette should be paired with nicotine salt e-liquids to effectively satisfy cravings.
The lifespan of an e-cigarette depends on its quality, maintenance and frequency of use. On average, a well-maintained kit can last several months, or even several years, by replacing only the wear components such as coils or cartridges. The lithium battery inside an e-cigarette is estimated to have an optimal lifespan of 300 charge/discharge cycles before gradually declining. To extend this lifespan, make sure to charge your e-cigarette using mains sockets of a maximum of 1A (unless otherwise indicated by the manufacturer) in order to minimise heat build-up in the electronics.
Good news! E-cigarettes are becoming increasingly accessible to all budgets, and you are in the right place at Le Vapoteur Discount to enjoy the best prices on the web. The average price of an e-cigarette is estimated at 35 euros. You will find e-cigarettes for as little as 10 euros for the smallest models, and up to 80 euros for the most advanced ones.
The e-cigarette is considered significantly less harmful than the traditional cigarette, as it does not rely on combustion. It is primarily used as an alternative to tobacco to reduce the risks associated with smoking. It is often described as "a healthier alternative" to tobacco or a "cessation aid" for the traditional cigarette. When used correctly (preferably in MTL mode), combined with good e-liquids (French and certified) and maintained regularly (cleaning and coil replacement every 2 weeks), it becomes a very effective tool for quitting tobacco, which itself is highly dangerous.
Many smokers use the e-cigarette as a smoking cessation tool. By replicating the gesture, sensation, inhalation and nicotine delivery, it facilitates the gradual quitting of tobacco. Success depends on using it in an appropriate way: the right inhalation method (MTL), the right flavour, the right nicotine level, the right design and a level of maintenance that suits the vaper. Every smoker is unique and will require a strategy tailored to their needs, but the latest studies (such as the Cochrane study of 1 March 2025) show that: "Nicotine e-cigarettes can help people quit smoking for at least six months. Evidence suggests they work better than nicotine replacement therapies, and probably better than nicotine-free e-cigarettes.". The use of nicotine salt e-liquids would also be an asset: "However, we still need more evidence, particularly on the effects of newer types of e-cigarettes that deliver nicotine better than older ones, as better nicotine delivery could help more people quit smoking."
Most electronic cigarettes offer automatic power adjustment by detecting the resistance value (auto or smart mode). Other models offer the option of precise manual adjustment. To find the right wattage for your electronic cigarette, check the recommendations printed on the coil (or pod cartridge). There you will find the recommended power range for optimal use. Tip: if your coil is new, remember to leave it submerged in the e-liquid for a few minutes so that it does not burn on first use. Also set the wattage to the lowest end of what the manufacturer recommends for the first few puffs.
Maintaining an electronic cigarette is straightforward. It mainly involves cleaning the tank or cartridge and replacing the coil when it is worn out. Regular maintenance ensures a healthier vape, better performance and a longer lifespan. On average, a coil should be changed every 2 to 3 weeks at most. Take the opportunity to thoroughly clean your clearomiser or cartridge. The drip tip alone can be cleaned with soapy water every day if you wish.
An electronic cigarette with a built-in battery recharges directly via a USB cable and is simple to use. Models with removable batteries allow you to replace the battery, often offering greater battery life, power and longevity, but require slightly more initial cost, knowledge and equipment to charge and transport these batteries safely.
Yes, it is permitted to carry an electronic cigarette on a plane, but only in the cabin. It must be switched off and not used during the flight. Batteries are prohibited in the hold for safety reasons. As for your e-liquids, they must not exceed 100 ml to travel with you in the cabin. Remember to carry your e-liquid bottles and your clearomiser (or pod cartridge) in a sealed plastic bag. These can leak due to changes in air pressure inside the aircraft.
If you are travelling abroad, remember to check the legislation regarding electronic cigarettes. Some countries prohibit their use and may expose you to fines (examples in 2026: Cambodia, India, Laos, Qatar, Singapore, Thailand). Others allow the possession of an electronic cigarette, but you will not find vape shops to purchase your e-liquids.
