Le Pod Liquide Pulp: 50/50 e-liquids for electronic cigarettes

Le Pod Liquide Pulp is a range of e-liquids built around recipes that have become essential in the Pulp brand universe. Originally composed of nicotine salt references, the collection has progressively developed with the introduction of classic nicotine variants, followed by larger formats designed to be used with boosters.

Today, the Le Pod Liquide Pulp range offers several recipe families and different formats. The references are formulated in 50/50 PG/VG, a versatile ratio suitable for many pods and electronic cigarettes. The collection also includes the Le Pod Fizz variants, which revisit certain flavours that have become classics in the range.

Le Pod Liquide Pulp: a range that has evolved

At launch, Le Pod Liquide Pulp primarily grouped e-liquids with nicotine salts, also known as Nic Salt. This formulation was particularly associated with the use of small pods and electronic cigarettes with indirect draw.

Following the success of certain flavours, Pulp progressively developed new versions of its recipes. The range now includes Nic Salt references, Nic Base liquids as well as 60 ml formats that can be complemented with a booster.

Variant Nicotine type Format / use
Le Pod Liquide Nic Salt Nicotine salts For vapers looking for a nicotine salt liquid to quit smoking
Le Pod Liquide Nic Base Classic nicotine For a more traditional vape at levels of 0, 3, 6, 12, 18 mg/ml
Le Pod Liquide 60 ml Nicotine-free as standard Format designed for the addition of a booster depending on the reference
Le Pod Fizz Depending on the reference Variants based on iconic recipes

This evolution allows the same recipe to be found in different forms, with a wider choice in terms of nicotine, quantity and format.

A 50/50 PG/VG ratio suitable for pods

All e-liquids in the Le Pod Liquide Pulp range are formulated with a 50/50 PG/VG ratio. This composition combines propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin in equal parts.

The 50/50 ratio is a versatile ratio particularly suited to pods and electronic cigarettes used with indirect or semi-direct inhalation, depending on the device.Le Pod Liquide Pulp flavours

Le Pod Liquide Pulp Nic Salt

The original version of Le Pod Liquide Pulp is based on salts, or Nic Salt. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly used with small devices and pods.

Nicotine in salt form allows Pulp to offer some of its iconic recipes in liquids designed for this type of device.

Before choosing a Nic Salt product, check the level indicated on the bottle and make sure your electronic cigarette or pod is suitable for the selected liquid.

Le Pod Liquide Pulp in classic nicotine

The range is no longer limited to salts. Pulp also offers variants in Nic Base, meaning with classic nicotine.

This evolution allows vapers who enjoy the range's recipes to find certain flavours with a different form of nicotine.

The choice between Salt and classic Nic Base depends on vaping habits, the device used and the desired dosage.

60 ml boostable formats

Certain Le Pod Liquide Pulp references are now available in 60 ml. These formats are designed to allow the addition of a booster.

The principle involves adding the recommended amount of booster to the bottle, then carefully mixing the contents.

The amount of booster required depends on the bottle volume and the desired strength. Always check the information on the product page before preparation.

Le Pod Fizz: variations on iconic recipes

More recently, Pulp developed Le Pod Fizz, a series of variations on certain recipes that have become classics in the Le Pod Liquide Pulp range.

The aim of these variants is to offer a new interpretation of familiar flavours, with combinations that may include fruity, cool or iced notes.

The Fizz references complement the collection and allow vapers to discover different variations on existing Pulp recipes.

Which Le Pod Liquide Pulp flavour to choose?

The choice of a Pulp liquid depends mainly on your flavour preferences and the type of vape you are looking for.

If you enjoy red fruits, recipes with strawberry, raspberry or cherry may suit your taste. Fruit lovers can also turn to peach, melon, watermelon, pineapple or orange.

For a vape more oriented towards freshness, several references combine mint aromas with iced, frosty or cool notes. Fans of traditional recipes can find classic or light tobacco profiles.

Which Le Pod Liquide Pulp for your electronic cigarette?

The choice of liquid must also take your device into account. A pod, a compact electronic cigarette or a device fitted with an MTL cartridge does not necessarily work with the same specifications as a device intended for heavy vapour production.

The 50/50 PG/VG ratio of the range offers versatile use across many compatible devices. However, it remains necessary to check the manufacturer's recommendations regarding the coil or cartridge used.

Before filling your pod, check in particular:

  • the nicotine type: Nic Salt or Nic Base;
  • the nicotine level;
  • the 50/50 PG/VG ratio;
  • the compatibility of the coil or cartridge;
  • the manufacturer's recommendations.

FAQ

An e-liquid (or electronic cigarette liquid) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an electronic cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is composed of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It determines the taste, the throat hit, the cloud production, and the overall vaping experience.

An e-liquid generally contains four elements:

  • propylene glycol (PG), which carries the flavours, enhances the throat hit and provides a sensation close to that of a cigarette;
  • vegetable glycerin (VG), responsible for the vapour and cloud density;
  • flavourings, which provide the taste (fruit, mint, classic tobacco, dessert, ice…);
  • nicotine, optional, which helps manage cravings for vapers who are quitting smoking.

Some formulas also use alternative plant-based bases (Végétol) for extra smoothness.

An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who wish to replace the traditional cigarette. Nicotine acts on the feeling of satisfaction and limits cravings. E-liquids without nicotine are used either at the end of the quitting process or purely for the enjoyment of vaping, even though it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine level is essential to avoid a poor experience (irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. A level that is too low can lead to frustration and relapse, while a level that is too high can cause throat discomfort. The aim is to find a balance between hit, sensation, and vaping comfort, adjusting progressively if needed. A low dosage of 0, 3, or 6 mg/ml of nicotine is generally recommended for light or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml nicotine salt for heavy smokers (one pack of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted according to your electronic cigarette and the way you vape.

Nicotine salt is a more stable and smoother form of nicotine to inhale. It provides rapid absorption with a less harsh throat hit, even at high levels. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers, and low-wattage MTL kits. Various nicotine salt dosages are available. The best-known and most effective is 20 mg/ml, which is well suited to heavy smokers. However, a dosage of 10 mg/ml can work very well for regular or occasional smokers.

A nicotine booster is a concentrated nicotine bottle designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine level depending on the quantity added. Flexible and economical, this solution lets you boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine booster will give you 3 mg/ml; two nicotine boosters will bring your e-liquid up to 6 mg/ml.

The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerin ratio strongly influences the vape.

  • An e-liquid rich in propylene glycol or PG (70/30, 80/20) favours the throat hit, flavour precision, and a discreet vape. The e-liquid will be thin and compatible only with tight-draw MTL equipment to avoid leaks.
  • An e-liquid rich in vegetable glycerin or VG (30/70) produces more vapour and cloud, with a smoother, sweeter sensation. This thicker e-liquid will be compatible with sub-ohm or shisha-type electronic cigarettes, producing large vapour clouds at high wattage.

The choice therefore depends on the wattage and compatibility with your electronic cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Balanced, it allows versatile use across MTL, RDL, and light DTL electronic cigarette models (between approximately 15 and 40 watts).

E-liquids with a vegetable base or Végétol replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers sensitive to PG, and offer a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL mode at low wattage (minimum 30 watts) to avoid leaking risks and to preserve the quality of the product.

Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally do not contain nicotine. They offer a different sensation, focused on relaxation, with no addictive effect. They should be used at moderate wattage to preserve the quality of the product. We recommend using them with a tight-draw MTL electronic cigarette.

E-liquids are considered a much healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from ingredients certified as safe for health, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as buying your e-liquid from a recognised retailer like Le Vapoteur Discount, or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and regulated brands.

An e-liquid manufactured in France meets strict requirements and European directives in terms of traceability, quality control, and safety. As a guarantee of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formulas and are required to have these formulations assessed by an independent laboratory before going to market. All these steps ensure that e-liquids are safe for vapers. These French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.

To keep your e-liquid for as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste and colour, you should keep it in its original bottle and ideally away from light, heat and air. Despite these precautions, it can happen that the e-liquid takes on a slightly brown tint. Safe and fit for consumption, this colour is due to the oxidation of nicotine and can also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally recommended not to keep the same e-liquid for more than 5 days in your clearomiser or pod cartridge if you are not using it, to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.

The BBD (Best Before Date) or MHD (Minimum Durability Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and its appearance (colour, consistency). An e-liquid fresh from the factory will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even past its BBD, the e-liquid remains safe to vaporise and will not be harmful to health.
