An e-liquid is a consumable exclusively intended for the e-cigarette. The 100 ml format is aimed at regular and experienced vapers who wish to enjoy their favourite flavour in a very large format, without having to restock too often.
Cost-effective in the long run, the 100 ml allows you to reduce the cost per millilitre, whilst limiting packaging and repeated refills. Like the 50 ml formats, it is offered in a ready-to-boost version: nicotine-free at purchase, but with enough space to add several boosters according to the desired strength.
It is the ideal format for intensive vapers, fans of "all-day" flavours, or those who simply want to vape for longer, with complete peace of mind.
Fewer constraints, more autonomy, more pleasure: the 100 ml ticks all the boxes for a comfortable and cost-effective vape.
A 100 ml e-liquid can be vaped as is, without nicotine.
However, for occasional to moderate smokers, it is possible to add nicotine boosters at 20 mg/ml to obtain a suitable dosage, without altering the flavours.
You get an e-liquid ready to vape at 1.5 mg/ml.
You get an e-liquid at 3 mg/ml, perfectly balanced.
This dosage requires a larger volume than that of the original bottle.
You get an e-liquid ready to vape at 6 mg/ml.
For higher dosages, the use of a graduated bottle is strongly recommended to ensure a homogeneous and safe mixture.
E-liquids with a dominant vegetable glycerine (VG) base stand out for their thicker texture and their ability to produce dense and generous vapour. They offer a smoother throat feel and are particularly appreciated by vapers who enjoy direct lung (DL) vaping and large clouds.
Due to their high viscosity, these e-liquids require powerful subohm e-cigarettes, such as:
For optimal e-liquid feed and to avoid dry hits, it is recommended to use subohm clearomisers, designed for thick liquids:
Low coils, ranging between 0.15 ohm and 0.4 ohm, are ideal for efficiently vaporising an e-liquid rich in VG.
A wide 810-format drip tip is recommended to facilitate direct inhalation and the passage of a large volume of vapour.
E-liquids rich in VG are best expressed at high power.
Vaping above 40 watts is recommended, whilst of course following the coil manufacturer's guidelines.
To preserve the flavours and ensure an optimal vape:
Think about recycling: empty bottles must be disposed of through appropriate channels.

An e-liquid (or liquid for e-cigarettes) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an e-cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is composed of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It determines the taste, throat sensation, cloud production, and overall vaping experience.
An e-liquid generally contains four elements:
Some formulas also use alternative plant-based bases (Végétol) for extra smoothness.
An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who wish to replace traditional cigarettes. Nicotine acts on the sensation of satisfaction and reduces cravings. Nicotine-free e-liquids are used either at the end of a quitting process or purely for the pleasure of vaping, although it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine level is essential to avoid a poor experience (irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. A level that is too low can lead to frustration and relapse, while a level that is too high can cause throat discomfort. The aim is to find a balance between hit, sensation and vaping comfort, adjusting gradually as needed. A low dosage of 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine is generally recommended for light smokers or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml nicotine salt for heavy smokers (1 pack of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted depending on your e-cigarette and your vaping style.
Nicotine salt is a more stable form of nicotine that is gentler to inhale. It provides rapid absorption with a less aggressive throat hit, even at high levels. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly well suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers and low-wattage MTL kits. Various nicotine salt dosages are available. The best-known and most effective is 20 mg/ml, highly suitable for heavy smokers. However, a dosage of 10 mg/ml can work very well for regular or occasional smokers.
A nicotine booster is a nicotine-concentrated bottle designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine level depending on the quantity added. Flexible and economical, this solution lets you boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine booster will give you 3 mg/ml; two nicotine boosters will bring your e-liquid to 6 mg/ml.
The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerin ratio strongly influences the vape.
The choice therefore depends on the power and compatibility with your e-cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Balanced, it allows versatile use on MTL, RDL and light DTL e-cigarette models (between approximately 15 and 40 watts).
Plant-based or Végétol e-liquids replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers sensitive to PG, and offer a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL mode at low wattage (minimum 30 watts) to avoid the risk of leaks and to preserve the quality of the product.
Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally contain no nicotine. They offer a different sensation, focused on relaxation, with no addictive effect. They should be used at moderate wattage to preserve the quality of the product. Prefer a tight-draw MTL e-cigarette for use with them.
E-liquids are considered a much healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from ingredients certified as safe for health, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as purchasing your e-liquid from a recognised retailer like Le Vapoteur Discount or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and regulated brands.
An e-liquid manufactured in France meets strict requirements and European directives regarding traceability, quality control and safety. As a guarantee of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formulas and are obliged to have those formulations assessed by an independent laboratory before going to market. These steps ensure that e-liquids are safe for vapers. French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.
To keep your e-liquid for as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste and colour, store it in its original bottle and ideally away from light, heat and air. Despite these precautions, the e-liquid may sometimes take on a slightly brown tint. Safe and suitable for use, this colour is due to the oxidation of nicotine and may also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally recommended not to keep the same e-liquid for more than 5 days in your clearomiser or pod cartridge if you are not using it, to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.
The DLUO (Best Before Date) or BBD (Best By Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and appearance (colour, fluidity). A factory-fresh e-liquid will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even past the BBD, the e-liquid remains suitable for vaping and will not be harmful to health.
