An e-liquid is a consumable exclusively intended for the e-cigarette. The 100 ml format is aimed at regular and experienced vapers who wish to enjoy their favourite flavour in a very large format, without having to replenish their stock too often.
Cost-effective in the long run, the 100 ml allows you to reduce the cost per millilitre, while limiting packaging and repeated refills. Like the 50 ml formats, it is offered in a ready-to-boost version: nicotine-free at purchase, but with enough space to add several boosters according to the desired level.
It is the ideal format for intensive vapers, fans of all-day flavours, or those who simply want to vape for longer, with complete peace of mind.
Fewer constraints, more autonomy, more enjoyment: the 100 ml ticks all the boxes for a comfortable and cost-effective vape.
A 100 ml e-liquid can be vaped as is, without nicotine.
However, for occasional to moderate smokers, it is possible to add nicotine boosters at 20 mg/ml to obtain a suitable dosage without altering the flavours.
You get an e-liquid ready to vape at 1.5 mg/ml.
You get an e-liquid at 3 mg/ml, perfectly balanced.
This dosage requires a larger volume than that of the original bottle.
You get an e-liquid ready to vape at 6 mg/ml.
For high dosages, the use of a graduated bottle is strongly recommended to ensure a homogeneous and safe mixture.
E-liquids with a dominant vegetable glycerine (VG) base are distinguished by their thicker texture and their ability to produce dense and generous vapour. They offer a smoother throat sensation and are particularly appreciated by vapers who enjoy airy vaping (DL) and large clouds.
Due to their high viscosity, these e-liquids require powerful subohm e-cigarettes, such as:
For optimal e-liquid feeding and to avoid dry hits, it is recommended to use subohm clearomisers, designed for thick liquids:
Low coils, between 0.15 ohm and 0.4 ohm, are ideal for efficiently vaporising a high-VG e-liquid.
A wide 810-format drip tip is preferred to facilitate direct inhalation and the passage of a large volume of vapour.
High-VG e-liquids perform best at high wattage.
Vaping above 40 watts is recommended, while of course following the coil manufacturer's guidelines.
To preserve the flavours and ensure an optimal vape:
Think about recycling: empty bottles must be disposed of through appropriate channels.

An e-liquid (or liquid for e-cigarettes) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an e-cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is composed of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It determines the taste, the throat sensation, the cloud production, and the overall vaping experience.
An e-liquid generally contains four elements:
Some formulas also use alternative vegetable bases (Végétol) for a smoother experience.
An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who wish to replace traditional cigarettes. Nicotine acts on the feeling of satisfaction and reduces cravings. Nicotine-free e-liquids are used either at the end of a cessation programme or purely for the enjoyment of vaping, although it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine level is essential to avoid a poor experience (irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. A level that is too low can lead to frustration and relapse, whilst a level that is too high can cause throat discomfort. The goal is to find a balance between hit, sensation and vaping comfort, adjusting gradually as needed. A low dosage of 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine is generally recommended for light smokers or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml nicotine salt for heavy smokers (1 pack of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted depending on your electronic cigarette and your vaping style.
Nicotine salt is a more stable form of nicotine that is smoother to inhale. It provides rapid absorption with a less harsh throat hit, even at high concentrations. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers, and low-wattage MTL kits. There are various nicotine salt dosages available. The best-known and most effective is 20 mg/ml, which is very well suited to heavy smokers. However, a 10 mg/ml dosage can work very well for regular or occasional smokers.
A nicotine booster is a nicotine-concentrated bottle designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine level according to the quantity added. Flexible and economical, this solution lets you boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine booster will result in 3 mg/ml; adding two nicotine boosters will turn your e-liquid into 6 mg/ml.
The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerine ratio has a strong influence on the vaping experience.
The choice therefore depends on the wattage and compatibility with your electronic cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Balanced, it allows versatile use across MTL, RDL and light DTL electronic cigarette models (approximately between 15 and 40 watts).
Vegetable-based e-liquids or those made with Végétol replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers who are sensitive to PG, and offer a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL mode at low wattage (minimum 30 watts) to avoid the risk of leaks and to preserve product quality.
Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally contain no nicotine. They offer a different sensation focused on relaxation, with no addictive effect. They should be used at moderate wattage to preserve product quality. A tight-draw MTL electronic cigarette is recommended for use with them.
E-liquids are considered a much healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from ingredients certified as safe for health, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as buying your e-liquid from a recognised retailer like Le Vapoteur Discount or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and controlled brands.
An e-liquid manufactured in France meets strict requirements and European directives in terms of traceability, control and safety. As a guarantee of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formula and are required to have that formulation assessed by an independent laboratory before being placed on the market. All these steps ensure that e-liquids are safe for vapers. These French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.
To keep your e-liquid as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste and colour, it should be kept in its original bottle, ideally away from light, heat and air. Despite these precautions, the e-liquid may sometimes take on a slightly brown tint. Safe and suitable for use, this colour is due to the oxidation of nicotine and may also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally advised not to keep the same e-liquid for more than 5 days in your clearomiser or pod cartridge if you are not using it, in order to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.
The DLUO (Date Limite d'Utilisation Optimale) or BBD (Best Before Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and appearance (colour, fluidity). An e-liquid fresh from the factory will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even after the BBD has passed, the e-liquid remains suitable for vaporisation and will not be harmful to health.
