An e-liquid is a consumable exclusively intended for the e-cigarette. The 100 ml format is aimed at regular and experienced vapers who wish to enjoy their favourite flavour in a very large format, without having to restock too often.
Cost-effective in the long term, the 100 ml allows you to reduce the cost per millilitre, while limiting packaging and repeated refills. Like the 50 ml formats, it is available as a ready-to-boost version: nicotine-free at purchase, but with enough space to add several boosters according to the desired level.
It is the ideal format for intensive vapers, fans of "all-day" flavours, or those who simply want to vape for longer, in total peace of mind.
Fewer constraints, more autonomy, more enjoyment: the 100 ml ticks all the boxes for a comfortable and economical vape.
A 100 ml e-liquid can be vaped as is, without nicotine.
However, for occasional to moderate smokers, it is possible to add nicotine boosters at 20 mg/ml to achieve a suitable dosage without altering the flavours.
You get an e-liquid ready to vape at 1.5 mg/ml.
You get an e-liquid at 3 mg/ml, perfectly balanced.
This dosage requires a larger volume than that of the original bottle.
You get an e-liquid ready to vape at 6 mg/ml.
For higher dosages, the use of a graduated bottle is strongly recommended to ensure a homogeneous and safe mixture.
E-liquids with a predominantly vegetable glycerine (VG) base are distinguished by their thicker texture and their ability to produce dense and generous vapour. They offer a smoother throat sensation and are particularly appreciated by vapers who favour direct lung vaping (DL) and big clouds.
Due to their high viscosity, these e-liquids require powerful subohm e-cigarettes, such as:
For optimal e-liquid feeding and to avoid dry hits, it is recommended to use subohm clearomisers, designed for thick liquids:
Low coils, between 0.15 ohm and 0.4 ohm, are ideal for efficiently vaporising a VG-rich e-liquid.
A drip tip wide 810 format is preferable to facilitate direct inhalation and the passage of a large volume of vapour.
VG-rich e-liquids perform best at high wattage.
Vaping above 40 watts is recommended, while of course following the coil manufacturer's recommendations.
To preserve flavours and ensure an optimal vape:
Think about recycling: empty bottles must be disposed of through appropriate channels.

An e-liquid (or e-cigarette liquid) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an e-cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is composed of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It is what determines the taste, the throat hit, the cloud production, and the overall vaping experience.
An e-liquid generally contains four elements:
Some formulas also use alternative vegetable bases (Végétol) for extra smoothness.
An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who wish to replace the traditional cigarette. Nicotine acts on the sensation of satisfaction and reduces cravings. E-liquids without nicotine are used either at the end of the quitting process, or purely for the pleasure of vaping, even though it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine strength is essential to avoid a poor experience (irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. Too low a strength can lead to frustration and relapse, whilst too high a strength can cause throat discomfort. The aim is to find a balance between hit, sensation, and vaping comfort, adjusting gradually as needed. We generally recommend a low dosage of 0, 3, or 6 mg/ml of nicotine for light or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml nicotine salt for heavy smokers (1 packet of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted according to your e-cigarette and your vaping style.
Nicotine salt is a more stable and smoother form of nicotine to inhale. It provides rapid absorption with a less harsh throat hit, even at high strengths. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers, and low-power MTL kits. Various nicotine salt strengths are available. The most well-known and effective is 20 mg/ml, which is very well suited to heavy smokers. However, a strength of 10 mg/ml may be perfectly suitable for a regular or occasional smoker.
A nicotine booster is a nicotine-concentrated bottle designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine level according to the quantity added. Flexible and economical, this solution lets you boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine booster will result in 3 mg/ml; adding two nicotine boosters will turn your e-liquid into 6 mg/ml.
The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerin ratio strongly influences the vaping experience.
The choice therefore depends on the power and compatibility with your e-cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Well-balanced, it allows versatile use with MTL, RDL and light DTL e-cigarette models (between approximately 15 and 40 watts).
Vegetable-based e-liquids or those made with Végétol replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers who are sensitive to PG, and offer a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL mode at low wattage (minimum 30 watts) to avoid the risk of leaks and to preserve product quality.
Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally contain no nicotine. They offer a different sensation focused on relaxation, with no addictive effect. They should be used at moderate wattage to preserve product quality. A tight-draw MTL electronic cigarette is recommended for use with them.
E-liquids are considered a far healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from certified ingredients with no health risks, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as purchasing your e-liquid from a recognised retailer such as Le Vapoteur Discount, or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and regulated brands.
An e-liquid manufactured in France complies with strict requirements and European directives regarding traceability, quality control and safety. As a guarantee of quality and transparency for consumers, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formulas, and are required to have those formulations assessed by an independent laboratory before going to market. These steps ensure that e-liquids are safe for vapers. These French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.
To keep your e-liquid as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste and colour, store it in its original bottle, ideally away from light, heat and air. Despite these precautions, the e-liquid may take on a slightly brown tint. This is harmless and safe to use — the colour is due to the oxidation of nicotine and may also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally recommended not to keep the same e-liquid in your clearomiser or pod cartridge for more than 5 days if you are not using it, to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.
The BBD (Best Before Date) or MHD (Minimum Durability Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and appearance (colour, consistency). A factory-fresh e-liquid will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even past its BBD, the e-liquid remains safe to vaporise and will not be harmful to health.
