An e-liquid is a consumable exclusively intended for the e-cigarette. The 100 ml format is aimed at regular and experienced vapers who want to enjoy their favourite flavour in a very large format, without having to replenish their stock too often.
Cost-effective in the long run, the 100 ml allows you to reduce the cost per millilitre, while limiting packaging and repeated refills. Like the 50 ml formats, it is offered in a ready-to-boost version: nicotine-free at purchase, but with enough space to add several boosters depending on the desired strength.
It is the ideal format for intensive vapers, "all-day" flavour enthusiasts or those who simply want to vape for longer, without any hassle.
Fewer constraints, more autonomy, more enjoyment: the 100 ml ticks all the boxes for a comfortable and cost-effective vape.
A 100 ml e-liquid can be vaped as is, without nicotine.
However, for occasional to moderate smokers, it is possible to add nicotine boosters at 20 mg/ml to obtain a suitable dosage, without altering the flavours.
You obtain a ready-to-vape e-liquid at 1.5 mg/ml.
You obtain an e-liquid at 3 mg/ml, perfectly balanced.
This dosage requires a larger volume than the original bottle.
You obtain a ready-to-vape e-liquid at 6 mg/ml.
For higher dosages, the use of a graduated bottle is strongly recommended to ensure a homogeneous and safe mixture.
The 50/50 PG/VG ratio is one of the most versatile on the market. It offers an excellent compromise between flavour delivery, moderate throat hit and reasonable vapour production. It is a reassuring choice, both for beginner vapers and for those looking for a simple and effective everyday vape.
Thanks to its balanced viscosity, a 50/50 e-liquid is compatible with the majority of versatile e-cigarettes, including:
This ratio also works very well with modern pod devices, appreciated for their simplicity and discretion:
For a stable and hassle-free vape, opt for versatile clearomizers capable of handling different inhalation styles:
The coil value should ideally be between 0.4 ohm and 1.2 ohm, for an adaptable, economical and enjoyable vape.
A drip tip 510 standard is generally recommended. Some vapers also use this ratio with more airy 810 drip tips, without experiencing any leaks, depending on the equipment used.
A 50/50 PG/VG e-liquid adapts to a wide power range, generally between 10 and 40 watts, depending on the installed coil and the type of draw desired.
To preserve the flavours and guarantee an optimal vape:
Think about recycling: empty bottles must be disposed of through appropriate channels.

An e-liquid (or liquid for electronic cigarettes) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an electronic cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is composed of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It is what determines the taste, the throat sensation, cloud production, and the overall vaping experience.
An e-liquid generally contains four elements:
Some formulas also use alternative plant-based bases (Végétol) for extra smoothness.
An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who wish to replace the traditional cigarette. Nicotine acts on the sensation of satisfaction and reduces cravings. Nicotine-free e-liquids are used either at the end of a quitting programme, or purely for the pleasure of vaping, even though it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine level is essential to avoid a poor experience (irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. A level that is too low can lead to frustration and relapse, while a level that is too high can cause throat discomfort. The aim is to find a balance between hit, sensation and vaping comfort, adjusting gradually as needed. A low dosage of 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine is generally recommended for light or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml of nicotine salt for heavy smokers (one pack of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted depending on your electronic cigarette and the way you vape.
Nicotine salt is a more stable form of nicotine that is gentler to inhale. It provides rapid absorption with a less harsh throat hit, even at high strengths. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly well suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers, and low-wattage MTL kits. Nicotine salt is available in various strengths. The best-known and most effective is 20 mg/ml, which is well suited to heavy smokers. However, a 10 mg/ml strength can work very well for a regular or occasional smoker.
A nicotine booster is a nicotine-concentrated bottle designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine level according to the quantity added. Flexible and cost-effective, this solution allows you to boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine booster will give you 3 mg/ml; two nicotine boosters will turn your e-liquid into a 6 mg/ml.
The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerin ratio strongly influences the vaping experience.
The choice therefore depends on the power and compatibility with your electronic cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Balanced, it allows versatile use across MTL, RDL and light DTL electronic cigarette models (between approximately 15 and 40 watts).
Plant-based e-liquids or Végétol e-liquids replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers who are sensitive to PG, and provide a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL mode at low wattage (minimum 30 watts) to avoid leakage risks and preserve product quality.
Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally contain no nicotine. They offer a different sensation, focused on relaxation, with no addictive effect. They should be used at moderate power to preserve the quality of the product. We recommend using them with a tight-draw MTL electronic cigarette.
E-liquids are considered a much healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from ingredients certified as safe for health, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as purchasing your e-liquid from a recognised retailer like Le Vapoteur Discount, or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and tested brands.
An e-liquid manufactured in France meets strict requirements and European directives regarding traceability, testing, and safety. As a guarantee of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formula and are required to have that formulation assessed by an independent laboratory before going to market. These steps ensure that e-liquids are safe for vapers. French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.
To keep your e-liquid for as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste and colour, you should store it in its original bottle, ideally away from light, heat and air. Despite these precautions, the e-liquid may take on a slightly brown tint. Safe and suitable for consumption, this colour is due to the oxidation of nicotine and may also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally recommended not to keep the same e-liquid in your clearomiser or pod cartridge for more than 5 days if you are not using it, in order to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.
The DLUO (Date Limite d'Utilisation Optimale, or best-before date) or DDM (Date de Durabilité Minimale, minimum durability date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and its appearance (colour, consistency). A factory-fresh e-liquid will have a DDM of approximately 2 years. Even past its DDM, the e-liquid remains suitable for vaporisation and will not be harmful to health.
