The Le Vapoteur Discount guide for your 50 ml e-liquid
Why choose a nicotine-free 50 ml e-liquid?
An e-liquid is a consumable exclusively intended for the electronic cigarette. The 50 ml format is particularly popular among regular vapers for its value for money. It allows you to vape for longer while reducing repeat purchases.
50 ml e-liquids are packaged in a ready-to-boost format.
They contain no nicotine at purchase, but leave enough space in the bottle to add one or two nicotine boosters, depending on the desired dosage.
Practical, cost-effective and flexible, the 50 ml format suits vapers who prefer 0 mg, 3 mg or 6 mg/ml, and want to enjoy their favourite flavour for longer without compromise.
How to add nicotine to a 50 ml e-liquid?
A 50 ml e-liquid can perfectly be vaped without nicotine.
However, if you are an occasional or moderate smoker, adding nicotine boosters lets you tailor your e-liquid to your needs, simply and quickly.
To obtain an e-liquid at 3 mg/ml
- Take your 50 ml bottle and one nicotine booster at 20 mg/ml;
- Pour the entire booster into the bottle;
- Close the bottle (you now have 60 ml) and shake vigorously for a few seconds;
- Wait 1 to 2 minutes before use.
You get an e-liquid ready to vape at 3 mg/ml.
To obtain an e-liquid at 6 mg/ml
- Take your 50 ml bottle and two nicotine boosters at 20 mg/ml;
- Add both boosters to the bottle;
- Close the bottle (you now have 70 ml) and shake thoroughly;
- Wait 1 to 2 minutes before vaping.
You get a ready-to-use e-liquid at 6 mg/ml.
These bottles are designed to hold up to 2 boosters. If you want a higher dosage or a personalised recipe, we recommend using large-format bottles (Chubby Gorilla or graduated 120 ml bottles).
Equipment choice for an e-liquid rich in vegetable glycerin VG (30/70 and 20/80)
E-liquids with a dominant vegetable glycerin (VG) content stand out for their thicker texture and their ability to produce dense and generous vapour. They offer a smoother throat feel and are particularly popular among vapers who enjoy direct lung (DL) vaping and big clouds.
Electronic cigarette
Due to their high viscosity, these e-liquids require powerful subohm electronic cigarettes, such as:
- GeekVape Aegis Legend 5 Kit: an indestructible dual-battery box equipped with the Zeus Subohm clearomizer;
- Vaporesso Gen Max Kit: a timeless design with dual 18650 batteries;
- Vaporesso Armour Ultra Kit: the indestructible 2025 newcomer equipped with a 5500 mAh battery and the iTank T;
- Voopoo Spark 220 Kit: a luminous design with the UForce-X clearomizer, winner of VapExpo 2025.
Pods
- Voopoo Doric 60 Pro Kit: a tube format with PNP-X coils in 0.3 and 0.2 Ohm;
- Vaporesso Luxe XR Max 2 Kit: with GTX Dual Mesh coils at 0.2 ohm;
- Voopoo Drag X3 Kit: the latest generation Drag from Voopoo with excellent subohm performance.
Clearomizers
For optimal e-liquid feeding and to avoid dry hits, it is recommended to use subohm clearomizers, designed for thick liquids:
- GeekVape Zeus Clearomizer: essential and timeless with its Z Coils;
- GeekVape Z SubOhm 5 Clearomizer: the 2026 version of the iconic subohm clearomizer;
- Vaporesso iTank T Dual Mesh Clearomizer: the ultimate subohm according to Vaporesso;
- Voopoo UForce-X Clearomizer: the winner of VapExpo 2025.
Coils
Low coils, ranging from 0.15 ohm to 0.4 ohm, are ideal for efficiently vaporising a VG-rich e-liquid.
Drip tip
A drip tip wide 810 format is preferred to facilitate direct inhalation and the passage of a large volume of vapour.
Power setting
E-liquids rich in VG reach their full potential at high wattage.
Vaping above 40 watts is recommended, while respecting the coil manufacturer's guidelines.
Taking care of your electronic cigarette
To fully enjoy your 50 ml e-liquid and extend the lifespan of your equipment:
- Regularly clean your clearomizer and drip tip to prevent residue build-up;
- Replace the coil as soon as flavours deteriorate or vapour production decreases (on average every 2 to 3 weeks);
- Avoid leaving a tank filled with the same e-liquid for more than 5 days without use, to limit the risk of leaks or flavour degradation.
Usage precautions
- If you do not smoke, do not vape;
- Product containing nicotine: prohibited for minors, not recommended for pregnant women or people suffering from cardiovascular disorders or hypertension;
- In case of allergies, check the label for any allergens (limonene, tree nuts, etc.);
- In case of skin contact, rinse thoroughly with water and soap;
- Store your e-liquids in a dry place, away from light and temperature variations, out of reach of children and pets.
Think about recycling: empty bottles must be disposed of through the appropriate channels.

FAQ
An e-liquid (or electronic cigarette liquid) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an electronic cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is composed of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It determines the taste, throat hit, cloud production, and overall vaping experience.
An e-liquid generally contains four elements:
- propylene glycol (PG), which carries the flavours, enhances the throat hit and provides a sensation close to that of a cigarette;
- vegetable glycerin (VG), responsible for vapour production and cloud density;
- the flavourings, which provide the taste (fruit, mint, classic blond, dessert, ice…);
- nicotine, optional, which helps manage cravings for vapers who are quitting smoking.
An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who wish to replace traditional cigarettes. Nicotine acts on the feeling of satisfaction and reduces cravings. E-liquids without nicotine are used either at the end of a cessation programme, or purely for the pleasure of vaping, although it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine level is essential to avoid a bad experience (throat irritation or cravings).
The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. A level that is too low can lead to frustration and relapse, whilst a level that is too high can cause throat discomfort. The goal is to find a balance between hit, sensation, and vaping comfort, even if it means adjusting gradually.
We generally recommend a low dosage of 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine for light smokers or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml of nicotine salt for a heavy smoker (1 packet of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted depending on your e-cigarette and your vaping style.
Nicotine salt is a more stable form of nicotine that is smoother to inhale. It provides rapid absorption, with a less harsh throat hit, even at high strengths. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers, and low-wattage MTL kits.
There are various nicotine salt strengths available. The most well-known and effective being 20 mg/ml, highly suited to heavy smokers. However, a strength of 10 mg/ml may be perfectly suitable for a regular or occasional smoker.
A nicotine booster is a concentrated nicotine bottle, designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine level according to the quantity added. Flexible and cost-effective, this solution allows you to boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine booster will give you 3 mg/ml, while two nicotine boosters will transform your e-liquid into 6 mg/ml.
The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerine ratio strongly influences the vape.
- An e-liquid rich in propylene glycol or PG (70/30, 80/20) enhances the throat hit, flavour precision and a discreet vape. The e-liquid will be fluid and compatible only with MTL equipment with a tight draw to avoid leaks.
- An e-liquid rich in vegetable glycerine or VG (30/70) produces more vapour and clouds, with a smoother, sweeter sensation. This thicker e-liquid will be compatible with sub-ohm or hookah-type e-cigarettes, producing large clouds of vapour at high wattage.
E-liquids with a vegetable base or containing Végétol replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers who are sensitive to PG, and provide a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL with a low wattage (minimum 30 watts) to avoid the risk of leaks and preserve the quality of the product.
Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally do not contain nicotine. They offer a different sensation, focused on relaxation, without any addictive effect. They should be used at moderate wattage to preserve the quality of the product. A tight-draw MTL e-cigarette is recommended for best results.
E-liquids are considered a much healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from ingredients certified as safe for health, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as buying your e-liquid from a recognised retailer like Le Vapoteur Discount, or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and regulated brands.
An e-liquid manufactured in France meets strict requirements and European directives regarding traceability, control, and safety. As a guarantee of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formula and are required to have this formulation studied by an independent laboratory before it is placed on the market. All these steps ensure that e-liquids are safe for vapers. These French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.
To preserve your e-liquid for as long as possible and maintain its quality, taste and colour, you should keep it in its original bottle and ideally away from light, heat and air. Despite these precautions, it can happen that the e-liquid takes on a slightly brown tint. Safe and suitable for consumption, this colour is due to the oxidation of the nicotine and can also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally recommended not to keep the same e-liquid for more than 5 days in your clearomiser or pod cartridge if you are not using it, to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.
The DLUO (Date Limite d'Utilisation Optimale) or BBD (Best Before Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and appearance (colour, fluidity). An e-liquid fresh from the factory will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even past the BBD, the e-liquid remains suitable for vaping and will not be harmful to health.
