An e-liquid is a consumable exclusively intended for the electronic cigarette. The 50 ml format is particularly popular among regular vapers for its value for money. It allows you to vape for longer while reducing the need for repeated purchases.
50 ml e-liquids come in ready-to-boost format.
They contain no nicotine at purchase, but leave enough space in the bottle to add one or two nicotine boosters, depending on the desired dosage.
Practical, economical and flexible, the 50 ml suits vapers at 0 mg, 3 mg or 6 mg/ml alike, who want to enjoy their favourite flavour for longer, without compromise.
A 50 ml e-liquid can be perfectly vaped without nicotine.
However, if you are an occasional or moderate smoker, adding nicotine boosters allows you to adapt your e-liquid to your needs, simply and quickly.
You get a ready-to-vape e-liquid at 3 mg/ml.
You get a ready-to-vape e-liquid at 6 mg/ml.
These bottles are designed to accommodate up to 2 boosters. If you want a higher dosage or a custom recipe, we recommend using large-format bottles (Chubby Gorilla or graduated 120 ml bottles).
E-liquids with a dominant vegetable glycerin (VG) content are distinguished by their thicker texture and their ability to produce dense and generous vapour. They offer a smoother throat sensation and are particularly appreciated by vapers who enjoy direct lung (DL) vaping and big clouds.
Due to their high viscosity, these e-liquids require powerful subohm electronic cigarettes, such as:
For optimal e-liquid feeding and to avoid dry hits, it is recommended to use subohm clearomizers, designed for thick liquids:
Low coils, between 0.15 ohm and 0.4 ohm, are ideal for efficiently vaporising an e-liquid rich in VG.
A drip tip wide 810 format is recommended to facilitate direct inhalation and the passage of a large volume of vapour.
VG-dominant e-liquids perform best at high wattage.
Vaping above 40 watts is recommended, while of course following the coil manufacturer's recommendations.
To make the most of your 50 ml e-liquid and extend the life of your equipment:
Think about recycling: empty bottles must be disposed of through appropriate channels.

An e-liquid (or liquid for electronic cigarettes) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an electronic cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is composed of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It determines the taste, the throat sensation, the cloud production, and the overall vaping experience.
An e-liquid generally contains four elements:
Some formulas also use alternative vegetable bases (Végétol) for added smoothness.
An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who wish to replace traditional cigarettes. Nicotine acts on the feeling of satisfaction and helps manage cravings. Nicotine-free e-liquids are used either towards the end of the quitting process, or purely for the pleasure of vaping, although it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine level is essential to avoid a poor experience (irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. A level that is too low can lead to frustration and relapse, while a level that is too high can cause throat discomfort. The goal is to find a balance between throat hit, sensation, and vaping comfort, adjusting gradually as needed. A low dosage of 0, 3, or 6 mg/ml of nicotine is generally recommended for light smokers or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml of nicotine salt for heavy smokers (one pack of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted depending on your e-cigarette and the way you vape.
Nicotine salt is a more stable and smoother form of nicotine to inhale. It provides rapid absorption, with a less harsh throat hit, even at high concentrations. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers, and low-powered MTL kits. There are different nicotine salt dosages. The best known and most effective being 20 mg/ml, highly suited for heavy smokers. However, a 10 mg/ml dosage can be perfectly suitable for a regular or occasional smoker.
A nicotine booster is a nicotine-concentrated bottle designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine level depending on the quantity added. Flexible and cost-effective, this solution allows you to boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine booster will give you 3 mg/ml, while two nicotine boosters will turn your e-liquid into a 6 mg/ml.
The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerin ratio strongly influences the vaping experience.
The choice therefore depends on the wattage and compatibility with your e-cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Balanced, it allows versatile use across MTL, RDL, and light DTL e-cigarette models (approximately between 15 and 40 watts).
Vegetable-based e-liquids or those made with Végétol replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers who are sensitive to PG, and provide a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL mode at a low wattage (minimum 30 watts) to avoid leakage risks and preserve product quality.
Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally do not contain nicotine. They offer a different sensation, focused on relaxation, without any addictive effect. They should be used at a moderate wattage to preserve product quality. An MTL e-cigarette with a tight draw is recommended for use with them.
E-liquids are considered a much healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from ingredients certified as safe for health, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as purchasing your e-liquid from a recognised retailer like Le Vapoteur Discount or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and regulated brands.
An e-liquid manufactured in France meets strict requirements and European directives in terms of traceability, quality control, and safety. As a guarantee of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formulas, and are required to have these formulations assessed by an independent laboratory before bringing them to market. All these steps ensure that e-liquids are safe for vapers. These French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.
To keep your e-liquid for as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste, and colour, store it in its original bottle, ideally away from light, heat, and air. Despite these precautions, the e-liquid may sometimes take on a slightly brown tint. Safe and fit for consumption, this colour is due to the oxidation of nicotine and may also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally advised not to keep the same e-liquid for more than 5 days in your clearomiser or pod cartridge if you are not using it, to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.
The DLUO (Date Limite d'Utilisation Optimale) or BBD (Best Before Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its flavour qualities and appearance (colour, fluidity). An e-liquid fresh from the factory will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even past its BBD, the e-liquid remains fit for vaporisation and will not be harmful to health.
