The Le Vapoteur Discount guide for your 100 ml e-liquid

Why choose a 100 ml nicotine-free e-liquid?

An e-liquid is a consumable exclusively intended for the electronic cigarette. The 100 ml format is aimed at regular and experienced vapers who wish to enjoy their favorite flavor in a very large format, without having to restock too often.

Cost-effective in the long run, the 100 ml allows you to reduce the cost per milliliter, while limiting packaging and repeated refills. Like the 50 ml formats, it is available in a ready-to-boost version: nicotine-free at purchase, but with enough space to add several boosters according to the desired level.

It is the ideal format for intensive vapers, fans of "all-day" flavors, or those who simply want to vape longer, with complete peace of mind.

Fewer constraints, more autonomy, more pleasure: the 100 ml checks all the boxes for a comfortable and economical vape.

How to add nicotine to a 100 ml e-liquid?

A 100 ml e-liquid can be vaped as is, without nicotine.
However, for occasional to moderate smokers, it is possible to add nicotine boosters at 20 mg/ml to obtain a suitable dosage, without altering the flavors.

To obtain an e-liquid at 1.5 mg/ml

  1. Get your 100 ml bottle and one nicotine booster at 20 mg/ml;
  2. Pour the entire booster into the bottle;
  3. Close the bottle (you now have 110 ml) and shake vigorously;
  4. Wait 1 to 2 minutes before use.

You get an e-liquid ready to vape at 1.5 mg/ml.

To obtain an e-liquid at 3 mg/ml

  1. Get your 100 ml bottle and two nicotine boosters at 20 mg/ml;
  2. Add the two boosters to the bottle;
  3. Close the bottle (you now have 120 ml) and shake thoroughly;
  4. Wait 1 to 2 minutes before vaping.

You get an e-liquid at 3 mg/ml, perfectly balanced.

To obtain an e-liquid at 6 mg/ml

This dosage requires a larger volume than the original bottle.

  1. Get your 100 ml e-liquid, four nicotine boosters at 20 mg/ml and a large empty graduated bottle (200 ml recommended);
  2. Pour all of the e-liquid and the 4 boosters into the empty bottle;
  3. Close (you now have approximately 140 ml) and shake vigorously;
  4. Wait 1 to 2 minutes before use.

You get an e-liquid ready to vape at 6 mg/ml.

For high dosages, the use of a graduated bottle is strongly recommended to ensure a homogeneous and safe mixture.

Choosing the right equipment for an e-liquid rich in vegetable glycerin VG (30/70 and 20/80)

E-liquids with a dominant vegetable glycerin (VG) profile are distinguished by their thicker texture and their ability to produce dense and generous vapor. They offer a smoother throat sensation and are particularly appreciated by vapers who enjoy direct lung (DL) vaping and large clouds.

Electronic cigarette

Due to their high viscosity, these e-liquids require powerful subohm electronic cigarettes, such as:

Pods

Clearomizers

For optimal e-liquid feeding and to avoid dry hits, it is recommended to use subohm clearomizers, designed for thick liquids:

Resistances

Resistances with low values, between 0.15 ohm and 0.4 ohm, are ideal for efficiently vaporizing an e-liquid rich in VG.

Drip tip

A drip tip wide 810 format is preferable to facilitate direct inhalation and the passage of a large volume of vapor.

Power adjustment

E-liquids rich in VG express themselves fully at high power.
Vaping above 40 watts is recommended, while of course respecting the manufacturer's recommendations for the resistance.

Properly maintaining your electronic cigarette

To preserve flavors and ensure an optimal vape:

  • Regularly clean the clearomizer and drip tip to avoid the accumulation of residue;
  • Replace the resistance as soon as flavors diminish or become altered (on average every 2 to 3 weeks);
  • Avoid leaving a filled tank with the same e-liquid for more than 5 days without use, to limit the risk of leakage or flavor degradation.

Usage precautions

  • If you do not smoke, do not vape;
  • Product containing nicotine: prohibited for minors, not recommended for pregnant women and people suffering from cardiovascular disorders or high blood pressure;
  • In case of allergies, check for the possible presence of allergens (limonene, tree nuts, etc.) indicated on the label;
  • In case of skin contact, rinse thoroughly with water and soap;
  • Store your e-liquids in a dry place, away from light and temperature fluctuations, out of reach of children and animals.

Think about recycling: empty bottles must be disposed of through appropriate channels.

FAQ

An e-liquid (or electronic cigarette liquid) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an electronic cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is made up of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It determines the taste, throat hit, cloud production, and overall vaping experience.

An e-liquid generally contains four elements:
  • propylene glycol (PG), which carries the flavourings, enhances the throat hit and provides a sensation close to that of a cigarette;
  • vegetable glycerin (VG), responsible for the vapour and the density of the cloud;
  • the flavourings, which give the taste (fruit, mint, classic tobacco, gourmet, ice…) ;
  • nicotine, optional, which helps manage cravings for vapers quitting smoking.
Some formulas also use alternative plant-based bases (Végétol) for a smoother experience.

An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who wish to replace the traditional cigarette. Nicotine acts on the feeling of satisfaction and limits cravings. E-liquids without nicotine are used either at the end of a cessation programme, or purely for the pleasure of vaping, even though it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine level is essential to avoid a bad experience (throat irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. A level that is too low can lead to frustration and relapse, whilst a level that is too high can cause throat discomfort. The goal is to find a balance between hit, sensation and vaping comfort, adjusting gradually as needed. We generally recommend a low dosage of 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine for light smokers or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml of nicotine salt for a heavy smoker (1 packet of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted depending on your e-cigarette and your vaping style.

Nicotine salt is a more stable and smoother form of nicotine to inhale. It provides rapid absorption, with a less harsh throat hit, even at high strengths. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers, and low-powered MTL kits. There are different nicotine salt dosages. The best known and most effective being 20 mg/ml, which is well suited to heavy smokers. However, a dosage of 10 mg/ml can work very well for a regular or occasional smoker.

A nicotine booster is a concentrated nicotine bottle, designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine level depending on the quantity added. Flexible and cost-effective, this solution allows you to boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine booster will give you 3 mg/ml, while two nicotine boosters will transform your e-liquid into 6 mg/ml.

The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerine ratio strongly influences the vape.
  • An e-liquid rich in propylene glycol or PG (70/30, 80/20) enhances the throat hit, flavour precision and discreet vaping. The e-liquid will be fluid and compatible only with MTL equipment with a tight draw to avoid leaks.
  • An e-liquid rich in vegetable glycerine or VG (30/70) produces more vapour and clouds, with a smoother, sweeter sensation. This thicker e-liquid will be compatible with sub-ohm or shisha-type e-cigarettes, producing large clouds of vapour at high power.
The choice therefore depends on the power and compatibility with your e-cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Balanced, it allows versatile use on MTL, RDL and light DTL e-cigarette models (between approximately 15 and 40 watts).

E-liquids with a vegetable base or Végétol replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers who are sensitive to PG, and offer a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL with a low wattage (minimum 30 watts) to avoid the risk of leaks and preserve the quality of the product.

Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally do not contain nicotine. They offer a different sensation, focused on relaxation, with no addictive effect. They should be used at a moderate wattage to preserve the quality of the product. A tight-draw MTL e-cigarette is recommended for use with them.

E-liquids are considered a much healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from ingredients certified as safe for health, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as purchasing your e-liquid from a recognised retailer like Le Vapoteur Discount or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and regulated brands.

An e-liquid manufactured in France meets strict requirements and European directives regarding traceability, control, and safety. As a guarantee of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formula and are required to have this formulation studied by an independent laboratory before it is placed on the market. All these steps ensure that e-liquids are safe for vapers. These French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.

To keep your e-liquid for as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste and colour, you should keep it in its original bottle and ideally away from light, heat and air. Despite these precautions, it can happen that the e-liquid takes on a slightly brown tint. Safe and suitable for consumption, this colour is due to the oxidation of nicotine and can also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally advised not to keep the same e-liquid for more than 5 days in your clearomiser or pod cartridge if you are not using it, to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.

The DLUO (Date Limite d'Utilisation Optimale) or BBD (Best Before Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and appearance (colour, fluidity). An e-liquid fresh from the factory will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even past the BBD, the e-liquid remains suitable for vaping and will not be harmful to health.
