The Vapoteur Discount guide for your 100 ml e-liquid

Advantages of the 100 ml nicotine-free bottle

An e-liquid is a consumable for e-cigarettes exclusively. The 100 ml format is aimed at experienced and enthusiastic vapers who want to enjoy their favorite e-liquid in a large format. This generous size allows for long-term savings while reducing frequent purchases. Like the 50 ml versions, it is offered ready-to-boost, meaning nicotine-free, with room to add several boosters according to your needs. It is the perfect format for those who vape heavily or want a comfortable stock of their all-day vape.

Less packaging, fewer refills, more enjoyment: the 100 ml combines convenience, autonomy, and savings for uninterrupted vaping.

How do I add nicotine to my e-liquid?

100 ml nicotine-free e-liquids can be consumed without adding a nicotine booster. If you are an occasional or moderate smoker, we recommend adding one or two boosters to prepare your e-liquid at a strength of 1.5 or 3 mg/ml.

For a dosage of 1.5 mg/ml:

  • Prepare your 100 ml bottle and one 20 mg/ml nicotine booster;
  • Add and fully dissolve the nicotine booster inside the 100 ml bottle;
  • Close your 100 ml bottle (now 110 ml) and shake vigorously;
  • Wait 1 to 2 minutes before consuming your 1.5 mg/ml e-liquid.

For a dosage of 3 mg/ml:

  • Prepare your 100 ml bottle and two 20 mg/ml nicotine boosters;
  • Add and fully dissolve the two nicotine boosters inside the 100 ml bottle;
  • Close your 100 ml bottle (now 120 ml) and shake vigorously;
  • Wait 1 to 2 minutes before consuming your 3 mg/ml e-liquid.

For a dosage of 6 mg/ml:

  • Prepare your 100 ml bottle, four 20 mg/ml nicotine boosters, and a large graduated empty bottle of 250 ml;
  • Pour all your ingredients (e-liquid + 4 boosters) into the large empty bottle;
  • Close your large empty bottle now filled with 140 ml of e-liquid and shake vigorously;
  • Wait 1 to 2 minutes before consuming your 6 mg/ml e-liquid.

Choosing the right hardware for a thick e-liquid rich in vegetable glycerin VG (40/60 to 20/80)

E-cigarette: e-liquids rich in vegetable glycerin pair very well with large, high-powered airflow devices such as the Kit Aegis Legend 3 by GeekVape, the Kit Gen Max by Vaporesso, or the Kit Spark 220 by Voopoo.

Tank: this thick PG/VG ratio pairs with sub-ohm models such as the Zeus by GeekVape, the Huracan by Aspire, or the UForce-X by Voopoo

Coil: it is ideal with coils between 0.4 ohm and 0.15 ohm.

Drip tip: a wide 810-format drip tip mouthpiece is preferred.

Wattage adjustment

A VG-rich ratio is suited for a wattage above 40 watts.

Regular maintenance

To ensure a long lifespan and optimal performance for your e-cigarette, regular maintenance is essential:

  • Regularly clean your tank and drip tip to avoid residue build-up;
  • Replace coils as soon as you notice a change in taste or a drop in performance (on average every 2 to 3 weeks);
  • Avoid leaving your tank full with the same e-liquid for more than 5 days without using it (risk of leaks and flavor degradation).

Usage precautions

If you do not smoke, do not vape :)

This product containing nicotine is prohibited for minors, pregnant women, and people with cardiovascular problems or hypertension.

In case of allergies: check for any potential allergens in the ingredients (limonene, tree nuts, etc.) listed on the product label.

In case of skin contact: the pharmaceutical nicotine contained in e-liquids can be an irritant for sensitive skin. If it comes into contact with a large area of skin, rinse thoroughly with soap and water.

Storing your e-liquids: store your e-liquids in a dry place, away from light and temperature changes. Also keep out of reach of children and pets.

In the interest of environmental protection and recycling, we would be grateful if you disposed of empty bottles in the appropriate bins.

FAQ

An e-liquid (or liquid for e-cigarettes) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an e-cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is made up of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It determines the taste, throat sensation, cloud production, and the overall vaping experience.

An e-liquid generally contains four elements:

  • propylene glycol (PG), which carries the flavours, enhances the throat hit and provides a sensation close to that of a cigarette;
  • vegetable glycerin (VG), responsible for the vapour and the density of the cloud;
  • the flavourings, which give the taste (fruit, mint, classic blond, dessert, ice…);
  • nicotine, optional, which helps manage cravings for vapers who are quitting.

Some formulas also use alternative plant-based bases (Végétol) for extra smoothness.

An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who want to replace traditional cigarettes. Nicotine acts on the feeling of satisfaction and helps curb cravings. Nicotine-free e-liquids are used either at the end of the quitting process or purely for the pleasure of vaping, although it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine level is essential to avoid a poor experience (irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. A level that is too low can lead to frustration and relapse, while a level that is too high can cause throat discomfort. The aim is to find a balance between throat hit, sensation and vaping comfort, adjusting gradually as needed. A low dosage of 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine is generally recommended for light or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml nicotine salt for heavy smokers (1 packet of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted depending on your e-cigarette and your vaping style.

Nicotine salt is a more stable form of nicotine that is smoother to inhale. It provides fast absorption with a less harsh throat hit, even at high strengths. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers, and low-powered MTL kits. Various nicotine salt dosages are available. The best-known and most effective is 20 mg/ml, which is very well suited to heavy smokers. However, a dosage of 10 mg/ml can work very well for a regular or occasional smoker.

A nicotine booster is a nicotine-concentrated bottle designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine level depending on the quantity added. Flexible and cost-effective, this solution lets you boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine booster will give you 3 mg/ml; adding two nicotine boosters will bring your e-liquid to 6 mg/ml.

The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerin ratio strongly influences the vaping experience.

  • An e-liquid rich in propylene glycol or PG (70/30, 80/20) enhances the throat hit, flavour precision and a discreet vaping experience. The e-liquid will be thin and compatible only with MTL equipment with a tight draw to avoid leaks.
  • An e-liquid rich in vegetable glycerin or VG (30/70) produces more vapour and larger clouds, with a smoother, sweeter sensation. This thicker e-liquid will be compatible with sub-ohm or hookah-style e-cigarettes, producing large vapour clouds at high wattage.

The choice therefore depends on the wattage and compatibility with your e-cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Balanced, it allows versatile use across MTL, RDL and light DTL e-cigarette models (approximately between 15 and 40 watts).

Plant-based or Végétol e-liquids replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers who are sensitive to PG, and provide a smoother vaping experience without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL mode at low wattage (minimum 30 watts) to avoid the risk of leaks and to preserve the quality of the product.

Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally do not contain nicotine. They offer a different sensation, focused on relaxation, with no addictive effect. They should be used at moderate power to preserve the quality of the product. A tight-draw MTL e-cigarette is recommended for use with them.

E-liquids are considered a much healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from ingredients certified as safe for health, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as purchasing your e-liquid from a recognised retailer like Le Vapoteur Discount or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and regulated brands.

An e-liquid manufactured in France meets strict requirements and European directives regarding traceability, quality control and safety. As a guarantee of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formula and are required to have this formulation reviewed by an independent laboratory before it goes to market. These steps ensure that e-liquids are safe for vapers. These French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.

To keep your e-liquid as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste, and colour, it should be stored in its original bottle, ideally away from light, heat, and air. Despite these precautions, the e-liquid may take on a slightly brown tint. Safe and fit for consumption, this colour is due to the oxidation of nicotine and may also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally recommended not to keep the same e-liquid for more than 5 days in your clearomiser or pod cartridge if you are not using it, to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.

The DLUO (Date Limite d'Utilisation Optimale) or BBD (Best Before Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and appearance (colour, consistency). An e-liquid fresh from the factory will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even after the BBD has passed, the e-liquid remains safe to vaporise and will not be harmful to health.
