Just a few days left before the launch of the 2024 edition of Smoke-Free Month! To prepare yourself for the 30-day no-cigarette challenge, Santé publique France, in partnership with the Ministry of Solidarity and Health and the Health Insurance scheme, is offering you a Smoke-Free Month kit. Smoke-Free Month kit: what is it?

The Smoke-Free Month kit brings together tools and advice to motivate, accompany and support smokers in staying on track throughout their smoking cessation journey. This kit provides them with useful keys to avoid smoking throughout the entire month of the 2024 Smoke-Free Month campaign, a public health campaign that brings together more than 100,000 participants every year. The aim? To encourage smokers to quit smoking for 30 days so they can discover the benefits of smoking cessation and keep going after the event.

Kit contents

The Smoke-Free Month kit is made up of various elements:

• A 40-day programme: this detailed guide accompanies participants every day throughout the month of November. It provides tips and advice for managing stress and anxiety, along with encouragement to stay motivated. The programme consists of 10 days of preparation followed by a 30-day challenge to test your nicotine dependency, discover effective methods to quit smoking, or successfully change your habits.

• A savings wheel: the first reason that drives smokers to quit is the financial aspect. This wheel is a powerful motivational tool that allows you to calculate and, above all, visualise the savings made by quitting smoking.

• Information flyers: useful numbers to contact healthcare professionals, as well as advice, strategies and tools to deal with nicotine cravings and successfully quit smoking.

How to obtain your Smoke-Free Month kit?

The Smoke-Free Month kit is funded by public health organisations and is therefore 100% free for participants in the 2024 Smoke-Free Month challenge. To receive it, nothing could be simpler: just create your account on the Smoke-Free Month website and place your order. Within an average of 10 days, the kit will be delivered by post directly to your home.

It is also possible to collect your kit from partner physical distribution points taking part in the campaign, such as pharmacies and health centres.

For those who wish, it is also possible to obtain the Smoke-Free Month kit in digital format. You can then consult it on your smartphone or computer whenever you like!
