Carnaval 10 ml - Le Vapoteur Discount
The Le Vapoteur Discount guide for choosing your 10 ml e-liquid
Essential to every e-cigarette, the e-liquid is the heart of your vaping experience. The 10 ml format is currently the only one permitted to contain nicotine under European regulations. Compact, practical and easy to carry, it allows you to try a flavour, adjust your nicotine level or vape on a daily basis with ease.
It is also the ideal format to support a journey of tobacco reduction or cessation, at your own pace.
What nicotine level should you choose for your e-liquid?
The right nicotine level depends above all on your smoker profile and your habits. The goal is to satisfy the craving without discomfort, while maintaining an enjoyable vape.
-
Light smoker (fewer than 5 cigarettes per day)
0 to 6 mg/ml
A gentle dosage, sufficient to curb the urge to smoke while providing a light throat sensation. -
Moderate smoker (5 to 15 cigarettes per day)
6 to 12 mg/ml
An ideal balance to recreate a sensation close to that of a traditional cigarette, without frustration. -
Heavy smoker (more than 15 cigarettes per day)
12 to 18 mg/ml
A higher level, designed to meet a significant nicotine need, particularly at the start of a cessation programme. -
Heavy smoker (more than 20 cigarettes per day)
18 to 20 mg/ml
The maximum permitted dosage, often associated with nicotine salts, for faster absorption and a smoother sensation.
These indications remain guidelines: every vaper is unique. Your personal experience, throat hit and the equipment used may lead you to adjust your dosage.
Choosing equipment for a balanced PG/VG e-liquid (50/50)
The 50/50 PG/VG ratio is one of the most versatile on the market. It offers an excellent balance between flavour delivery, moderate throat hit and reasonable vapour production. It is a reassuring choice, both for beginner vapers and for those looking for a simple and effective everyday vape.
E-cigarette
Thanks to its balanced viscosity, a 50/50 e-liquid is compatible with the majority of versatile e-cigarettes, including:
- CoolFire Z80 Kit by Innokin: an unbeatable box mod with a battery, versatile and equipped with the Zenith 2;
- Zelos M80 Kit by Aspire: the winner of VapExpo 2025;
- iStick X80 Kit by Eleaf: the new generation of the iStick series;
- Xros Pro 2 Kit by Vaporesso: the kit with impeccable flavour delivery.
Pods
This ratio also works very well with modern pods, appreciated for their simplicity and discretion:
- Soul 2 Kit by GeekVape: the pod with XXL battery life and versatile draw by GeekVape;
- Pixo Max Kit by Aspire: the latest Pixo with maximum battery life and new cartridges;
- Centaurus Ori 35 Kit by Lost Vape: a Centaurus pod with incredible performance and finish.
Clearomisers
For a stable and hassle-free vape, opt for versatile clearomisers capable of handling different inhalation styles:
- Zenith 2 Clearomiser by Innokin: unbeatable, versatile, ideal for MTL or RDL;
- X Tank T Clearomiser by Vaporesso: the latest addition to the GTX series;
- Zeus Nano 2 Clearomiser by GeekVape: a versatile Zeus, equipped with B Series coils;
- Nautilus GT 2 Clearomiser by Aspire: a timeless Nautilus with a modern design.
Coils
The value of the coil should ideally be between 0.4 ohm and 1.2 ohm, for an adaptable, economical and pleasant vaping experience.
Drip tip
A drip tip standard 510 is generally recommended. Some vapers also use this ratio with more airy 810 drip tips without noticing any leaks, depending on the equipment used.
Power settings
A 50/50 PG/VG e-liquid is suitable for a wide power range, generally between 10 and 40 watts, depending on the installed coil and the type of draw desired.
Properly maintaining your e-cigarette
Regular maintenance is essential to ensure a healthy, flavourful and lasting vape:
- Clean the clearomiser and drip tip regularly to prevent the build-up of residue;
- Replace the coil as soon as flavours deteriorate or vapour production decreases (on average every 2 to 3 weeks) and take the opportunity to thoroughly clean your clearomiser;
- Avoid leaving a tank filled with the same e-liquid for more than 5 days without use, to limit the risk of leaks or flavour degradation.
Usage precautions
- If you do not smoke, do not vape;
- Product containing nicotine: prohibited for minors, not recommended for pregnant women or people with cardiovascular disorders or hypertension;
- In case of allergies, check for the possible presence of allergens (limonene, tree nuts, etc.) indicated on the label;
- In case of contact with skin, rinse thoroughly with water and soap;
- Store your e-liquids in a dry place, away from light and temperature variations, out of reach of children and animals.
Think about recycling: empty bottles must be disposed of through appropriate channels.

FAQ
An e-liquid (or liquid for electronic cigarettes) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an electronic cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is composed of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It determines the taste, throat hit, cloud production, and overall vaping experience.
An e-liquid generally contains four elements:
- propylene glycol (PG), which carries the flavourings, enhances the throat hit and provides a sensation close to that of a cigarette;
- vegetable glycerine (VG), responsible for vapour production and cloud density;
- flavourings, which provide the taste (fruit, mint, classic tobacco, dessert, ice…);
- nicotine, optional, which helps manage cravings for vapers who are quitting smoking.
Some formulas also use alternative vegetable bases (Végétol) for added smoothness.
An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who wish to replace traditional cigarettes. Nicotine acts on the sensation of satisfaction and limits cravings. Nicotine-free e-liquids are used either at the end of a cessation programme or purely for the pleasure of vaping, although it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine level is essential to avoid a poor experience (irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. Too low a level can lead to frustration and relapse, while too high a level can cause throat discomfort. The aim is to find a balance between hit, sensation and vaping comfort, adjusting gradually as needed. A low dosage of 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine is generally recommended for light smokers or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml of nicotine salt for heavy smokers (one pack of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted depending on your electronic cigarette and your vaping style.
Nicotine salt is a more stable form of nicotine that is gentler on inhalation. It provides rapid absorption with a less aggressive throat hit, even at high levels. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers and low-power MTL kits. Various nicotine salt dosages are available. The best known and most effective is 20 mg/ml, highly suitable for heavy smokers. However, a dosage of 10 mg/ml may work very well for regular or occasional smokers.
A nicotine booster is a nicotine-concentrated bottle designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine level according to the quantity added. Flexible and cost-effective, this solution lets you boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine booster will give you 3 mg/ml; two nicotine boosters will bring your e-liquid up to 6 mg/ml.
The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerine ratio strongly influences the vaping experience.
- An e-liquid rich in propylene glycol or PG (70/30, 80/20) favours the throat hit, flavour accuracy and a discreet vape. The e-liquid will be thin and compatible only with MTL equipment with a tight draw to avoid leaks.
- An e-liquid rich in vegetable glycerine or VG (30/70) produces more vapour and cloud, with a softer, sweeter sensation. This thicker e-liquid is compatible with sub-ohm or shisha-type electronic cigarettes, producing large clouds of vapour at high power.
The choice therefore depends on the power and compatibility with your electronic cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Balanced, it allows versatile use on MTL, RDL and light DTL electronic cigarette models (approximately between 15 and 40 watts).
E-liquids with a vegetable base or with Végétol replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers sensitive to PG, and provide a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL with low power (minimum 30 watts) to avoid the risk of leaks and to preserve the quality of the product.
Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally do not contain nicotine. They offer a different sensation focused on relaxation, with no addictive effect. They should be used at moderate power to preserve the quality of the product. An MTL electronic cigarette with a tight draw is recommended for use with them.
E-liquids are considered a much healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from ingredients certified safe for health, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as purchasing your e-liquid from a recognised retailer such as Le Vapoteur Discount, or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and regulated brands.
An e-liquid manufactured in France meets strict requirements and European directives regarding traceability, quality control and safety. As a guarantee of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formulas and are required to have those formulas assessed by an independent laboratory before being brought to market. These steps ensure that e-liquids are safe for vapers. These French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.
To keep your e-liquid as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste and colour, store it in its original bottle, ideally away from light, heat and air. Despite these precautions, the e-liquid may sometimes take on a slightly brown tint. Safe and suitable for consumption, this colour is due to the oxidation of nicotine and may also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally advisable not to keep the same e-liquid in your clearomiser or pod cartridge for more than 5 days if you are not using it, to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.
The DLUO (Best Before Date) or BBD (Best Before Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its flavour qualities and appearance (colour, fluidity). A factory-fresh e-liquid will have a best before date of approximately 2 years. Even past the best before date, the e-liquid remains suitable for vaporisation and will not be harmful to health.
