An e-liquid is a consumable exclusively designed for the e-cigarette. The 50 ml format is particularly popular among regular vapers for its value for money. It allows you to vape for longer, while reducing repeat purchases.
50 ml e-liquids are packaged in ready-to-boost format.
They contain no nicotine at purchase, but leave enough space in the bottle to add one or two nicotine boosters, depending on the desired dosage.
Practical, economical and flexible, the 50 ml is suitable for vapers at 0 mg, 3 mg or 6 mg/ml, who wish to enjoy their favourite flavour for longer, without compromise.
A 50 ml e-liquid can perfectly be vaped without nicotine.
However, if you are an occasional or moderate smoker, adding nicotine boosters allows you to tailor your e-liquid to your needs, simply and quickly.
You get an e-liquid ready to vape at 3 mg/ml.
You get a ready-to-use e-liquid at 6 mg/ml.
These bottles are designed to hold up to 2 boosters. If you wish to use a higher dosage or a personalised recipe, we recommend using large-format bottles (Chubby Gorilla or graduated 120 ml bottles).
The 50/50 PG/VG ratio is one of the most versatile on the market. It offers an excellent balance between flavour delivery, moderate throat hit and reasonable vapour production. It is a reassuring choice, both for beginner vapers and for those looking for a simple and effective everyday vape.
Thanks to its balanced viscosity, a 50/50 e-liquid is compatible with the majority of versatile e-cigarettes, in particular:
This ratio also works very well with modern pods, appreciated for their simplicity and discreetness:
For a stable and hassle-free vape, opt for versatile clearomisers capable of handling different inhaling styles:
The resistance value should ideally be between 0.4 ohm and 1.2 ohm, for a versatile, economical and pleasant vape.
A drip tip standard 510 is generally recommended. Some vapers also use this ratio with more airy 810 drip tips, without noticing any leaks, depending on the equipment used.
A 50/50 PG/VG e-liquid adapts to a wide power range, generally between 10 and 40 watts, depending on the installed resistance and the type of draw desired.
To make the most of your 50 ml e-liquid and extend the lifespan of your equipment:
Think about recycling: empty bottles must be disposed of through the appropriate channels.

An e-liquid (or liquid for e-cigarettes) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an e-cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is composed of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It is what determines the taste, the throat sensation, the cloud production, and the overall vaping experience.
An e-liquid generally contains four ingredients:
Some formulas also use alternative vegetable bases (Végétol) for a smoother experience.
An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who wish to replace traditional cigarettes. Nicotine acts on the feeling of satisfaction and limits cravings. Nicotine-free e-liquids are used either at the end of a cessation programme or purely for the enjoyment of vaping, although it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine level is essential to avoid a poor experience (irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. Too low a level can lead to frustration and relapse, while too high a level can cause throat discomfort. The aim is to find the right balance between hit, sensation and vaping comfort, adjusting gradually if needed. A low dosage of 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine is generally recommended for light or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml of nicotine salt for heavy smokers (1 pack of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted according to your e-cigarette and your vaping style.
Nicotine salt is a more stable and smoother form of nicotine to inhale. It provides rapid absorption, with a less harsh throat hit, even at high levels. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers and low-power MTL kits. Various nicotine salt dosages are available. The most well-known and effective is 20 mg/ml, highly suitable for heavy smokers. However, a 10 mg/ml dosage may suit a regular or occasional smoker very well.
A nicotine booster is a nicotine-concentrated bottle designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine level according to the quantity added. Flexible and economical, this solution allows you to boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine booster will give you 3 mg/ml; two nicotine boosters will turn your e-liquid into 6 mg/ml.
The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerin ratio strongly influences the vape.
The choice therefore depends on the power and compatibility with your e-cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Balanced, it allows versatile use on MTL, RDL and light DTL e-cigarette models (between approximately 15 and 40 watts).
Plant-based or Végétol e-liquids replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers who are sensitive to PG, and offer a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL mode at low power (minimum 30 watts) to avoid the risk of leaks and to preserve the quality of the product.
Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally do not contain nicotine. They offer a different sensation, focused on relaxation, without any addictive effect. They should be used at moderate power to preserve the quality of the product. A tight-draw MTL e-cigarette is recommended for use with them.
E-liquids are considered a much healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from certified ingredients with no health risks, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as purchasing your e-liquid from a recognised retailer like Le Vapoteur Discount, or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and regulated brands.
An e-liquid manufactured in France meets strict requirements and European directives regarding traceability, quality control and safety. A mark of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formulas and are obliged to have this formulation assessed by an independent laboratory before bringing it to market. All these steps guarantee safe e-liquids for vapers. These French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.
To keep your e-liquid for as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste and colour, it should be stored in its original bottle, ideally away from light, heat and air. Despite these precautions, the e-liquid may sometimes take on a slightly brown tint. Safe and fit for consumption, this colour is due to the oxidation of nicotine and may also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally advisable not to keep the same e-liquid in your clearomiser or pod cartridge for more than 5 days if you are not using it, to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.
The DLUO (Best Before Date) or BBD (Best Before Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and its appearance (colour, fluidity). An e-liquid fresh from the factory will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even past its BBD, the e-liquid remains fit for vaporisation and will not be harmful to health.
