The Le Vapoteur Discount guide for your 50 ml e-liquid

Advantages of the 50 ml nicotine-free bottle

An e-liquid is a consumable for e-cigarettes exclusively. The 50 ml format is ideal for regular vapers looking for excellent value for money. This large format allows you to vape for longer without having to restock. Packaged in a "ready-to-boost" format, this e-liquid contains no nicotine at purchase, but has enough space to add one or two nicotine boosters to turn it into a 3 mg/ml or 6 mg/ml e-liquid.

Practical, economical, flexible and easy to carry, the 50 ml bottle is suitable for all vapers at 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml nicotine who want to fully enjoy their favourite flavour!

How to add nicotine to my e-liquid?

50 ml nicotine-free e-liquids can be used without adding a nicotine booster. If you are an occasional or moderate smoker, we recommend adding one or two boosters to prepare your e-liquid at a level of 3 or 6 mg/ml.

For a 3 mg/ml dosage:

  • Prepare your 50 ml bottle and a nicotine booster at 20 mg/ml;
  • Fully add and dilute the nicotine booster inside the 50 ml bottle;
  • Close your 50 ml bottle (now 60 ml) and shake vigorously;
  • Wait 1 to 2 minutes before consuming your e-liquid at 3 mg/ml.

For a 6 mg/ml dosage:

  • Prepare your 50 ml bottle and two nicotine boosters at 20 mg/ml;
  • Fully add and dilute both nicotine boosters inside the 50 ml bottle;
  • Close your 50 ml bottle (now 70 ml) and shake vigorously;
  • Wait 1 to 2 minutes before consuming your e-liquid at 6 mg/ml.

These bottles are designed to hold 1 to 2 nicotine boosters. However, if you want more nicotine in your recipe, we recommend using large Chubby Gorilla 120 ml or graduated 120 ml Twist bottles.

Equipment selection for an e-liquid with a balanced PG/VG ratio (50/50)

E-cigarette: balanced PG/VG ratios are suitable for the majority of versatile e-cigarettes such as the Innokin CoolFire Z80, the Aspire Zelos M80 Kit or the Eleaf iStick T80.

Pod: The GeekVape Soul 2 Pod Kit and the Vaporesso Vibe SE.

Clearomizer: versatile models such as the Innokin Zenith 2, the Vaporesso GTX18 or the GeekVape Zeus Nano 2 are compatible with a balanced PG/VG ratio.

Coil: this ratio is ideal with coils between 1.2 ohm and 0.4 ohm.

Drip tip: a standard 510 format drip tip mouthpiece is preferred, but some vapers use it on 810 airflow models without experiencing leaks.

Power setting

A balanced PG/VG ratio (50/50) can suit a wide power range between 10 and 50 watts.

Regular maintenance

  • Frequently clean your clearomizer and drip tip to avoid the build-up of residue;
  • Replace the coils as soon as you notice a deterioration in taste and a decrease in performance (on average every 2 to 3 weeks);
  • Avoid leaving your tank full with the same e-liquid for more than 5 days without using it (risk of leaks, flavour deterioration).

Usage precautions

If you don't smoke, don't vape :)

This product containing nicotine is prohibited for minors, pregnant women, people with cardiovascular problems or hypertension.

In case of allergies: check for the possible presence of allergens in the composition (limonene, tree nuts, etc.), listed on the product label.

In case of skin contact: the pharmaceutical nicotine contained in e-liquids can be an irritant for the skin of sensitive individuals. In case of contact with a large area of skin, rinse thoroughly with water and soap.

E-liquid storage: store your e-liquids in a dry place, away from light and temperature changes. Also keep out of reach of children and pets.

Out of respect for the environment and recycling, we would be grateful if you would dispose of empty bottles in the appropriate bins.

FAQ

An e-liquid (or electronic cigarette liquid) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an electronic cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is made up of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It determines the taste, throat sensation, cloud production, and overall vaping experience.

An e-liquid generally contains four elements:

  • propylene glycol (PG), which carries the flavourings, enhances the throat hit and delivers a sensation close to that of a cigarette;
  • vegetable glycerin (VG), responsible for the vapour and the density of the cloud;
  • flavourings, which provide the taste (fruit, mint, classic blonde, dessert, ice…);
  • nicotine, optional, which helps manage cravings for vapers who are quitting smoking.

Some formulas also use alternative plant-based bases (Végétol) for extra smoothness.

An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who wish to replace the traditional cigarette. Nicotine acts on the sensation of satisfaction and reduces cravings. Nicotine-free e-liquids are used either at the end of a quitting programme, or purely for the pleasure of vaping, even though it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine level is essential to avoid a poor experience (irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. A level that is too low can lead to frustration and relapse, while a level that is too high can cause throat discomfort. The aim is to find a balance between hit, sensation and vaping comfort, adjusting gradually as needed. A low dosage of 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine is generally recommended for light or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml of nicotine salt for heavy smokers (one pack of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted depending on your electronic cigarette and the way you vape.

Nicotine salt is a more stable form of nicotine that is gentler to inhale. It provides rapid absorption with a less harsh throat hit, even at high strengths. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly well suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers, and low-wattage MTL kits. Nicotine salt is available in various strengths. The best-known and most effective is 20 mg/ml, which is well suited to heavy smokers. However, a 10 mg/ml strength can work very well for a regular or occasional smoker.

A nicotine booster is a nicotine-concentrated bottle designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine level according to the quantity added. Flexible and cost-effective, this solution allows you to boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine booster will give you 3 mg/ml; two nicotine boosters will turn your e-liquid into a 6 mg/ml.

The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerin ratio strongly influences the vaping experience.

  • An e-liquid rich in propylene glycol or PG (70/30, 80/20) enhances the hit, the precision of flavours and a discreet vape. The e-liquid will be fluid and compatible only with tight-draw MTL equipment to avoid leaks.
  • An e-liquid rich in vegetable glycerin or VG (30/70) produces more vapour and cloud, with a softer, sweeter sensation. This thicker e-liquid will be compatible with sub-ohm or shisha-type electronic cigarettes, producing large clouds of vapour at high power.

The choice therefore depends on the power and compatibility with your electronic cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Balanced, it allows versatile use across MTL, RDL and light DTL electronic cigarette models (between approximately 15 and 40 watts).

Plant-based e-liquids or Végétol e-liquids replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers who are sensitive to PG, and provide a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL mode at low wattage (minimum 30 watts) to avoid leakage risks and preserve product quality.

Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally contain no nicotine. They offer a different sensation, focused on relaxation, with no addictive effect. They should be used at moderate wattage to preserve product quality. A tight-draw MTL electronic cigarette is recommended for use with them.

E-liquids are considered a much healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from ingredients certified as safe for health, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as buying your e-liquid from a recognised retailer like Le Vapoteur Discount, or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and regulated brands.

An e-liquid manufactured in France meets strict requirements and European directives regarding traceability, quality control and safety. As a guarantee of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formula and are required to have that formulation assessed by an independent laboratory before it is placed on the market. All these steps ensure that e-liquids are safe for vapers. These French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.

To keep your e-liquid for as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste and colour, you should store it in its original bottle, ideally away from light, heat and air. Despite these precautions, the e-liquid may take on a slightly brown tint. Safe and suitable for consumption, this colour is due to the oxidation of nicotine and may also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally recommended not to keep the same e-liquid in your clearomiser or pod cartridge for more than 5 days if you are not using it, in order to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.

The BBD (Best Before Date) or MHD (Minimum Durability Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and its appearance (colour, fluidity). An e-liquid fresh from the factory will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even past its BBD, the e-liquid remains suitable for vaporisation and will not be harmful to health.
