Le P'tit Blond 10 ml - Les Essentiels By LiquidArom
The Le Vapoteur Discount guide to choosing your 10 ml e-liquid
Essential to any electronic cigarette, the e-liquid is the heart of your vaping experience. The 10 ml format is currently the only one permitted to contain nicotine under European regulations. Compact, practical and easy to carry, it allows you to try a flavour, adjust your nicotine level or vape daily with ease.
It is also the ideal format to support a reduction or cessation of tobacco use, at your own pace.
What nicotine level should you choose for your e-liquid?
The right nicotine level depends above all on your smoker profile and your habits. The aim is to satisfy the craving without discomfort, whilst keeping the vaping experience enjoyable.
-
Light smoker (fewer than 5 cigarettes per day)
0 to 6 mg/ml
A gentle dosage, sufficient to ease the urge to smoke whilst offering a light throat sensation. -
Moderate smoker (5 to 15 cigarettes per day)
6 to 12 mg/ml
An ideal balance to recreate a sensation close to a classic cigarette, without frustration. -
Heavy smoker (more than 15 cigarettes per day)
12 to 18 mg/ml
A higher level, designed to meet a significant nicotine need, particularly at the start of cessation. -
Heavy smoker (more than 20 cigarettes per day)
18 to 20 mg/ml
The maximum permitted dosage, often associated with nicotine salts, for faster absorption and a smoother sensation.
These indications are guidelines only: every vaper is different. Your personal experience, throat hit and equipment used may lead you to adjust your dosage.
Choosing the right equipment for a balanced PG/VG e-liquid (50/50)
The 50/50 PG/VG ratio is one of the most versatile on the market. It offers an excellent compromise between flavour delivery, moderate throat hit and reasonable vapour production. It is a reassuring choice for both beginner vapers and those looking for a simple and effective everyday vape.
Electronic cigarette
Thanks to its balanced viscosity, a 50/50 e-liquid is compatible with the majority of versatile electronic cigarettes, including:
- Innokin CoolFire Z80 Kit: the unbeatable box mod with battery, versatile and equipped with the Zenith 2;
- Aspire Zelos M80 Kit: the winner of VapExpo 2025;
- Eleaf iStick X80 Kit: the new generation of the iStick series;
- Vaporesso Xros Pro 2 Kit: the kit with impeccable flavour delivery.
Pods
This ratio also works very well with modern pods, valued for their simplicity and discretion:
- GeekVape Soul 2 Kit: the pod with XXL battery life and versatile draw by GeekVape;
- Aspire Pixo Max Kit: the latest Pixo with maximum battery life and new cartridges;
- Lost Vape Centaurus Ori 35 Kit: a Centaurus pod with incredible performance and finish.
Clearomisers
For a stable and hassle-free vape, opt for versatile clearomisers capable of handling different inhalation styles:
- Innokin Zenith 2 Clearomiser: unbeatable, versatile, ideal for MTL or RDL;
- Vaporesso X Tank T Clearomiser: the latest addition to the GTX series;
- GeekVape Zeus Nano 2 Clearomiser: a versatile Zeus, equipped with B Series coils;
- Aspire Nautilus GT 2 Clearomiser: a timeless Nautilus with a modern design.
Coils
The coil value should ideally be between 0.4 ohm and 1.2 ohm, for an adaptable, economical and enjoyable vape.
Drip tip
A drip tip 510 standard is generally recommended. Some vapers also use this ratio with more open 810 drip tips without experiencing leaks, depending on the equipment used.
Power adjustment
A 50/50 PG/VG e-liquid suits a wide power range, generally between 10 and 40 watts, depending on the installed coil and the type of draw desired.
Maintaining your electronic cigarette properly
Regular maintenance is essential to ensure a healthy, flavoursome and long-lasting vape:
- Regularly clean the clearomiser and drip tip to prevent the build-up of residue;
- Replace the coil as soon as flavours deteriorate or vapour decreases (on average every 2 to 3 weeks) and take the opportunity to fully clean your clearomiser;
- Avoid leaving a tank filled with the same e-liquid for more than 5 days without use, to limit the risk of leaks or flavour deterioration.
Usage precautions
- If you do not smoke, do not vape;
- Product containing nicotine: prohibited for minors, not recommended for pregnant women or people suffering from cardiovascular disorders or hypertension;
- In case of allergies, check for the possible presence of allergens (limonene, tree nuts, etc.) indicated on the label;
- If contact with skin occurs, rinse thoroughly with soap and water;
- Store your e-liquids in a dry place, away from light and temperature fluctuations, out of reach of children and animals.
Think about recycling: empty bottles must be disposed of through appropriate waste channels.

FAQ
An e-liquid (or liquid for e-cigarettes) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an e-cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is composed of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It determines the taste, throat sensation, cloud production, and overall vaping experience.
An e-liquid generally contains four elements:
- propylene glycol (PG), which carries the flavours, enhances the throat hit and provides a sensation close to that of a cigarette;
- vegetable glycerin (VG), responsible for the vapour and cloud density;
- the flavourings, which provide the taste (fruit, mint, classic blonde, dessert, ice…);
- nicotine, optional, which helps manage cravings for vapers who are quitting smoking.
Some formulas also use alternative plant-based bases (Végétol) for a smoother experience.
An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who wish to replace traditional cigarettes. Nicotine acts on the sensation of satisfaction and reduces cravings. Nicotine-free e-liquids are used either at the end of a quitting process, or purely for the pleasure of vaping, although it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine level is essential to avoid a poor experience (irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. A level that is too low can lead to frustration and relapse, while a level that is too high can cause throat discomfort. The goal is to find a balance between hit, sensation and vaping comfort, adjusting gradually as needed. A low dosage of 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine is generally recommended for light or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml nicotine salt for a heavy smoker (1 pack of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted depending on your e-cigarette and your vaping style.
Nicotine salt is a more stable and smoother form of nicotine when inhaled. It provides rapid absorption with a less harsh throat hit, even at high levels. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers, and low-wattage MTL kits. Various nicotine salt dosages are available. The most well-known and effective is 20 mg/ml, highly suitable for heavy smokers. However, a 10 mg/ml dosage can work very well for a regular or occasional smoker.
A nicotine booster is a nicotine-concentrated bottle designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine level according to the quantity added. Flexible and economical, this solution allows you to boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine booster will achieve 3 mg/ml, while two nicotine boosters will bring your e-liquid up to 6 mg/ml.
The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerin ratio strongly influences the vape.
- An e-liquid rich in propylene glycol or PG (70/30, 80/20) enhances the throat hit, flavour precision and a discreet vape. The e-liquid will be fluid and compatible only with MTL equipment with a tight draw to avoid leaks.
- An e-liquid rich in vegetable glycerin or VG (30/70) produces more vapour and cloud, with a smoother, sweeter sensation. This thicker e-liquid will be compatible with sub-ohm or hookah-style e-cigarettes, producing large clouds of vapour at high power.
The choice therefore depends on the power and compatibility with your e-cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Balanced, it allows versatile use on MTL, RDL and light DTL e-cigarette models (between approximately 15 and 40 watts).
E-liquids with a vegetable base or containing Végétol replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers sensitive to PG, and offer a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL mode at low wattage (minimum 30 watts) to avoid the risk of leaks and to preserve product quality.
Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally contain no nicotine. They offer a different sensation, focused on relaxation, with no addictive effect. They should be used at moderate power to preserve product quality. We recommend using them with an MTL e-cigarette with a tight draw.
E-liquids are considered a much healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from ingredients certified as safe for health, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as purchasing your e-liquid from a recognised retailer like Le Vapoteur Discount or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and regulated brands.
An e-liquid manufactured in France meets strict requirements and European directives regarding traceability, quality control and safety. As a guarantee of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formula and are required to have that formulation assessed by an independent laboratory before it goes to market. All these steps ensure that e-liquids are safe for vapers. These French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.
To keep your e-liquid as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste and colour, you should store it in its original bottle and ideally away from light, heat and air. Despite these precautions, the e-liquid may sometimes take on a slightly brown tint. Safe and fit for consumption, this colour is due to the oxidation of nicotine and may also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally recommended not to keep the same e-liquid in your clearomiser or pod cartridge for more than 5 days if you are not using it, to avoid leaks as well as excessive oxidation.
The BBD (Best Before Date) or MHD (Minimum Durability Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and appearance (colour, fluidity). An e-liquid fresh from the factory will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even past its BBD, the e-liquid remains fit for vaporisation and will not be harmful to health.
