Blue raspberry takes centre stage with its sweet, slightly tangy character. Blueberry adds depth, while black cherry lends a darker fruity note. A cooling sensation comes through at the end of the puff.

What is a DIY flavour concentrate?

DIY flavour concentrate allows you to make your own e-liquid. By diluting it in a neutral PG/VG base, you can choose your mix ratio and nicotine strength to create a blend suited to your equipment and vaping style.

A 30 ml bottle of flavour concentrate makes several dozen millilitres of e-liquid, depending on the manufacturer's recommended dosage.

Equipment required

To create your own DIY e-liquid, you will need:

• A DIY flavour concentrate;
• A neutral PG/VG base (with or without nicotine);
• An additive (optional);
• One or more empty bottles to carry your mixes;
• A pipette or a graduated bottle;
• Latex gloves and safety goggles if you need to handle nicotine.

Before handling anything, make sure you work on a clean, washed surface out of reach of children and animals.

DIY flavour dosage

A flavour concentrate must be diluted in a PG/VG base and cannot be vaped on its own.

Depending on the manufacturer, a DIY flavour has a different dilution rate, always expressed as a percentage. Frozen Beast concentrates should be mixed at 8%.

In practical terms, with our 200 ml 50/50 PG/VG DIY Pack, this would be:

• 8% of the total volume in a 50/50 PG/VG base = 16 ml of flavouring to add to your 200 ml base

In a 70/30 base:

If your neutral base contains more propylene glycol (a flavour enhancer), we recommend slightly reducing the dosage of your flavouring.

In a 30/70 base:

If your neutral base contains more vegetable glycerine (which softens flavours), we recommend adding a little more flavouring to your mix.

Steeping

Leave your e-liquid to rest so the flavours can fully develop. Secret's Lab recommends a steeping time of at least 48 hours for Frozen Beast concentrates.

After the steeping period, test your liquid. You can adjust the flavour by adding base to soften it or flavouring to strengthen it, if necessary.

Storage

To preserve all the qualities of your DIY e-liquid:

• Store it in a dry place, away from light and heat;
• Write the manufacturing date and ingredients on each bottle;
• Always keep your mixes out of reach of children and animals.
