Frosted Red Fruits (formerly Néo) 10 ml - D'lice
The Le Vapoteur Discount guide to choosing your 10 ml e-liquid
Essential to any e-cigarette, e-liquid is the heart of your vaping experience. The 10 ml format is currently the only one permitted to contain nicotine under European regulations. Compact, practical and easy to carry, it lets you try a flavour, adjust your nicotine level or vape every day with complete ease.
It is also the ideal format to support a tobacco reduction or cessation journey, at your own pace.
What nicotine level should you choose for your e-liquid?
The right nicotine level depends above all on your smoker profile and your habits. The aim is to satisfy cravings without discomfort, whilst maintaining an enjoyable vape.
-
Very light smoker (fewer than 5 cigarettes per day)
0 to 6 mg/ml
A gentle dosage, sufficient to curb the urge to smoke while offering a light throat sensation. -
Light smoker (5 to 15 cigarettes per day)
6 to 12 mg/ml
An ideal balance to recapture a sensation close to a traditional cigarette, without frustration. -
Intense smoker (more than 15 cigarettes per day)
12 to 18 mg/ml
A higher level, designed to meet a significant nicotine need, particularly at the start of cessation. -
Heavy smoker (more than 20 cigarettes per day)
18 to 20 mg/ml
The maximum permitted dosage, often associated with nicotine salts, for faster absorption and a smoother sensation.
These indications remain guidelines: every vaper is unique. Your personal experience, throat hit and equipment used may lead you to adjust your dosage.
Choosing equipment for a balanced PG/VG (50/50) e-liquid
The 50/50 PG/VG ratio is one of the most versatile on the market. It offers an excellent compromise between flavour rendition, moderate throat hit and reasonable vapour production. It is a reassuring choice, both for beginner vapers and for those looking for a simple and effective everyday vape.
E-cigarette
Thanks to its balanced viscosity, a 50/50 e-liquid is compatible with the majority of versatile e-cigarettes, including:
- Innokin CoolFire Z80 Kit: the unbeatable mod battery, versatile and equipped with the Zenith 2;
- Zelos M80 Kit by Aspire: the VapExpo 2025 winner;
- Eleaf iStick X80 Kit: the new generation of the iStick series;
- Vaporesso Xros Pro 2 Kit: the kit with impeccable flavour delivery.
Pods
This ratio also works very well with modern pods, appreciated for their simplicity and discretion:
- GeekVape Soul 2 Kit: the pod with XXL battery life and versatile draw by GeekVape;
- Aspire Pixo Max Kit: the latest Pixo with maximum battery life and new cartridges;
- Lost Vape Centaurus Ori 35 Kit: a Centaurus pod with incredible performance and finish.
Clearomisers
For a stable and hassle-free vape, opt for versatile clearomisers capable of handling different inhalation styles:
- Innokin Zenith 2 Clearomiser: unbeatable, versatile, ideal for MTL or RDL;
- Vaporesso X Tank T Clearomiser: the latest addition to the GTX series;
- GeekVape Zeus Nano 2 Clearomiser: a versatile Zeus, equipped with B Series coils;
- Aspire Nautilus GT 2 Clearomiser: a timeless Nautilus with a modern design.
Coils
The resistance value should ideally be between 0.4 ohm and 1.2 ohm, for an adaptable, economical and enjoyable vape.
Drip tip
A standard 510 drip tip is generally recommended. Some vapers also use this ratio with airier 810 drip tips without experiencing leaks, depending on the equipment used.
Power setting
A 50/50 PG/VG e-liquid works across a wide power range, generally between 10 and 40 watts, depending on the coil installed and the type of draw you prefer.
Looking after your e-cigarette
Regular maintenance is essential to ensure a healthy, flavoursome and long-lasting vape:
- Clean the clearomiser and drip tip regularly to prevent the build-up of residue;
- Replace the coil as soon as flavours deteriorate or vapour production decreases (on average every 2 to 3 weeks) and take the opportunity to thoroughly clean your clearomiser;
- Avoid leaving a filled tank with the same e-liquid for more than 5 days without use, in order to limit the risk of leaks or flavour degradation.
Usage precautions
- If you do not smoke, do not vape;
- Product containing nicotine: prohibited for minors, not recommended for pregnant women or people with cardiovascular disorders or hypertension;
- In case of allergies, check for the possible presence of allergens (limonene, tree nuts, etc.) indicated on the label;
- In case of contact with skin, rinse thoroughly with water and soap;
- Store your e-liquids in a dry place, away from light and temperature fluctuations, out of reach of children and animals.
Think about recycling: empty bottles must be disposed of through the appropriate channels.

FAQ
An e-liquid (or electronic cigarette liquid) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an e-cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is composed of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It is what determines the taste, the throat sensation, the cloud production, and the overall vaping experience.
An e-liquid generally contains four elements:
- propylene glycol (PG), which carries the flavours, enhances the throat hit, and provides a sensation close to that of a cigarette;
- vegetable glycerine (VG), responsible for the vapour and cloud density;
- flavourings, which provide the taste (fruit, mint, classic blonde, dessert, ice…);
- nicotine, optional, which helps manage cravings for vapers who are quitting.
Some formulas also use alternative plant-based bases (Végétol) for extra smoothness.
An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who wish to replace traditional cigarettes. Nicotine acts on the sensation of satisfaction and reduces cravings. Nicotine-free e-liquids are used either at the end of a quitting process, or purely for the pleasure of vaping, even though vaping is not recommended if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine strength is essential to avoid a poor experience (irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. A strength that is too low can lead to frustration and relapse, while a strength that is too high can cause throat discomfort. The goal is to find a balance between throat hit, sensation, and vaping comfort, adjusting gradually as needed. As a general guideline, a low dosage of 0, 3, or 6 mg/ml of nicotine is recommended for light or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml nicotine salt for heavy smokers (one packet of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted depending on your electronic cigarette and the way you vape.
Nicotine salt is a more stable and smoother form of nicotine to inhale. It provides rapid absorption with a less harsh throat hit, even at high strengths. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly well suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers, and low-wattage MTL kits. Nicotine salts come in various strengths. The most well-known and effective is 20 mg/ml, which is very suitable for heavy smokers. However, a 10 mg/ml strength can work very well for a regular or occasional smoker.
A nicotine shot is a nicotine-concentrated bottle designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine strength depending on the amount added. Flexible and cost-effective, this solution lets you boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine shot will give you 3 mg/ml, while two nicotine shots will bring your e-liquid up to 6 mg/ml.
The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerine ratio has a strong influence on the vaping experience.
- An e-liquid high in propylene glycol or PG (70/30, 80/20) enhances the throat hit, flavour precision and a discreet vape. The e-liquid will be fluid and compatible only with MTL equipment with a tight draw to avoid leaks.
- An e-liquid high in vegetable glycerine or VG (30/70) produces more vapour and clouds, with a smoother, sweeter sensation. This thicker e-liquid will be compatible with sub-ohm or hookah-style e-cigarettes, producing large clouds of vapour at high wattage.
The choice therefore depends on the wattage and compatibility with your e-cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Balanced, it allows versatile use across MTL, RDL and light DTL e-cigarette models (between approximately 15 and 40 watts).
Plant-based or Végétol e-liquids replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers who are sensitive to PG, and offer a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL mode at low wattage (minimum 30 watts) to avoid the risk of leaks and to preserve product quality.
Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally contain no nicotine. They offer a different sensation, focused on relaxation, with no addictive effect. They should be used at moderate wattage to preserve product quality. We recommend using them with a tight-draw MTL electronic cigarette.
E-liquids are considered a far healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from ingredients certified as safe for health, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as purchasing your e-liquid from a recognised retailer like Le Vapoteur Discount, or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and regulated brands.
An e-liquid manufactured in France meets strict requirements and European directives regarding traceability, quality control, and safety. As a guarantee of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formulas and are required to have those formulas assessed by an independent laboratory before going to market. These steps all ensure that e-liquids are safe for vapers. French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.
To keep your e-liquid for as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste and colour, you should store it in its original bottle, ideally away from light, heat and air. Despite these precautions, the e-liquid may occasionally take on a slightly brown tint. Safe and suitable for consumption, this colour is caused by the oxidation of nicotine and may also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally advised not to keep the same e-liquid in your clearomiser or pod cartridge for more than 5 days if you are not using it, in order to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.
The BBD (Best Before Date) or MHD (Minimum Durability Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and appearance (colour, consistency). A factory-fresh e-liquid will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even past its BBD, the e-liquid remains fit for vaporisation and will not be harmful to health.
