How do the Cosmo & Tyro Vaptio coils work?
Usage:
- Cosmo C1 1.6 Ohm from 10 to 15W, kanthal coils, designed for indirect vaping (MTL) with a tight draw, recommended for high-nicotine e-liquids or nicotine salt e-liquids.
- Cosmo C2 0.7 Ohm from 15 to 23W, sub-ohm kanthal coils, designed for direct vaping (DL) with an airy draw, recommended for low-nicotine e-liquids.
- Cosmo C3 1.2 Ohm from 09 to 15W, kanthal coils, designed for indirect vaping (MTL) with a tight draw, recommended for high-nicotine e-liquids or nicotine salt e-liquids.
- Cosmo C4 Mesh 0.7 from 10 to 20W, sub-ohm mesh coils, designed for direct vaping (DL) with an airy draw, recommended for low-nicotine e-liquids.
- Cosmo C5 1 Ohm from 8 to 13W, Mesh coils for indirect vaping (MTL) with a tight draw, recommended for high-nicotine e-liquids, nicotine salt e-liquids or CBD e-liquids.
- Cosmo C6 Mesh 0.7 Ohm from 15 to 25W, next-generation Mesh coils for direct vaping (DL) with a shisha-style airy draw, designed for low-nicotine e-liquids.

Replacing a used Cosmo & Tyro Vaptio coil:
The coil is changed by unscrewing the base of your Cosmo Tank clearomizer and then unscrewing the used coil from its base. Screw a new coil — previously primed with a few drops of e-liquid — onto the base of the tank and reattach the top section. Fill your clearomizer with e-liquid and wait 5 to 10 minutes before vaping.
There are very simple signs to detect that will alert you it is finally time to change your coil:
Less dense vapor and a more restricted draw.
An altered flavor, increasingly harsh and potentially leading to a Dry Hit (burnt taste).

It consists of a resistive wire and an absorbent material (organic cotton or cellulose fibre) that retains the liquid.
