What coil for the Zenith Pro clearomizer?
On the occasion of its new Zenith Pro, Innokin has released two new coils supplied with the clearomizer.
Z Coil 1.0 ohm coil: DL direct lung vape to be used between 20 and 25W for great clouds with the airflow fully open.
Z Coil 1.2 ohm coil: Tight MTL mouth-to-lung vape to be used between 10 and 14W for intense sensations with the airflow reduced.
How to change the coil on the Zenith Pro clearomizer?
In order to maintain optimal use of your e-cigarette, or when your coil produces a harsher flavor with less vapor, proceed to replace the coil following these steps:
Unscrew the base of the clearomizer
Remove the coil to be replaced
Insert the new coil
Refit the base of the clearomizer and screw it back on
Wait approximately 10 minutes for the coil to prime
How to fill the tank of the Zenith Pro clearomizer?
No more messy hands and spills! No more screwing and unscrewing either, thanks to the sliding top cap system that is perfectly airtight once closed:
Slide your top cap following the direction of the arrows to the right
Fill with up to 5.5 ml of e-liquid
Slide the top cap back to the left to close it

The clearomiser is the part of the electronic cigarette that contains the e-liquid and the coil. It transforms the liquid into vapour and plays an essential role in flavour delivery, the amount of vapour produced, and the type of draw. Choosing the right clearomiser is therefore essential for a vaping experience tailored to your needs.
The difference lies in the type of inhalation:
- MTL (indirect inhalation): tight draw, similar to a cigarette, ideal for ex-smokers and nicotine e-liquids.
- RDL (restrictive direct inhalation): intermediate draw, good balance between flavour and vapour.
- DTL (direct inhalation): very airy draw, large vapour production, aimed at more experienced vapers.
The choice depends on your vaping habits, the power of your mod, and the type of coil used. A smaller battery will suit an MTL clearomiser better, whereas a DTL clearomiser will require a more powerful mod capable of supporting sub-ohm coils.
Clearomisers come in different capacities, generally from 2 ml to over 5 ml. A small tank is sufficient for occasional or MTL vaping, while a large tank is recommended for a more airy vape that uses more e-liquid.
The coil should be replaced when flavours diminish, vapour becomes less dense, or a burnt taste appears. On average, a coil is replaced every 1 to 3 weeks, depending on usage and the type of e-liquid vaped.
No. MTL clearomisers work best with thin, nicotine-containing e-liquids, while DTL clearomisers are designed for thicker, VG-rich liquids. Using a suitable e-liquid helps prevent leaks, optimise coil lifespan, and improve vaping comfort.
