An e-liquid is a consumable intended exclusively for electronic cigarettes. Nicotine salt e-liquids contain nicotine combined with an organic acid, which lowers its pH. At the same strength, the throat hit is considerably smoother than with traditional nicotine, known as “freebase”: salts therefore allow you to vape high strengths comfortably, from 10 to 20 mg/ml, using tight-draw devices.

Nicotine salts are not suitable for sub-ohm devices: high power combined with a strength of 10 or 20 mg/ml would make vaping too strong. For direct-lung vaping, choose 50 ml e-liquids boosted to a low strength instead.

These guidelines are indicative: your sensation, device and vaping frequency may lead you to adjust your strength. 20 mg/ml is the maximum strength permitted under European regulations (TPD). The coil value and power determine the type of draw. With a nicotine salt e-liquid, low power is sufficient:

Always start at the lower end of the power range stated on the coil, then increase gradually without exceeding 20 W. For the drip tip, a slim 510 mouthpiece concentrates flavours and maintains a tight draw.

An e-liquid (or electronic cigarette liquid) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an electronic cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is made up of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. The BBD (Best Before Date) or MHD (Minimum Durability Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and appearance (colour, fluidity). A factory-fresh e-liquid will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even past its BBD, the e-liquid remains suitable for vaporisation and will not be harmful to health.
