The capacity of empty pod cartridges varies depending on the model, but the majority offer around 3 ml, which allows you to vape for several hours before needing to refill. The lifespan depends on maintenance and the type of coil, with integrated coil cartridges needing to be replaced as soon as the flavour diminishes, while coil-free pods can last longer and be reused multiple times.
Most empty cartridges accept all types of e-liquids, but compatibility depends on the integrated coil resistance. Pods with resistances below 1 ohm or adjustable ones can accommodate all kinds of liquids, whereas beginner pods (resistance>1 ohm) require e-liquids with a suitable PG/VG ratio (50/50 or 70/30) to avoid leaks or poor vapour production.
