PnP X DTL Cartridges - Voopoo

An empty pod cartridge is a detachable tank designed to hold the e-liquid of your choice. Unlike pre-filled pods, these cartridges are designed to be filled and reused multiple times, depending on the model. They allow you to personalise your vaping experience, vary the flavours, and control the amount of liquid used, while retaining the ease of use characteristic of pods.

Cartridges with an integrated coil require the entire cartridge to be replaced when the coil is worn out, usually indicated by a loss of flavour or a burnt taste. Cartridges without a coil can be refilled multiple times and offer a longer lifespan, as the coil can be changed separately or is included in a modular pod. The choice depends on your frequency of use and your willingness to carry out maintenance.

Filling is generally done from the bottom or top of the tank after removing the protective tab. It is advisable to wait 5 minutes after filling to allow the coil to soak properly and avoid any burnt taste. Pods with adjustable airflow also allow you to adjust the draw to your preferences during filling.

The capacity of empty pod cartridges varies depending on the model, but most offer around 3 ml, which allows for several hours of vaping before needing to refill. Lifespan depends on maintenance and coil type — cartridges with integrated coils should be replaced as soon as the flavour diminishes, whereas coil-free pods can last longer and be reused multiple times.

Most empty pod cartridges accept all types of e-liquids, but compatibility depends on the integrated coil. Pods with coils below 1 ohm or adjustable coils can accommodate all kinds of liquids, whereas beginner pods (coil>1 ohm) require e-liquids with a suitable PG/VG ratio (50/50 or 70/30) to avoid leaks or poor vapour performance.
