An e-liquid is a consumable for e-cigarettes exclusively.
E-liquids with nicotine salts are particularly recommended for smokers who want to quit tobacco effectively and without discomfort.
Unlike classic nicotine (or "freebase"), nicotine salts allow for faster absorption by the body. They provide an almost immediate feeling of satisfaction, just like a traditional cigarette would.
Nicotine salts help better manage "cravings" (sudden urges to smoke) that appear at the beginning of cessation.
Another major advantage: despite their high nicotine content (generally 10 or 20 mg/ml), they offer a smoother and more tolerable inhalation, without irritation or an overly harsh hit (throat contraction) in the throat.
This type of e-liquid is therefore ideal for heavy smokers or vapers seeking simplicity and effectiveness. It allows you to vape less, but better and is the quickest, most effective and most comfortable solution to say goodbye to cigarettes.
This estimate is for guidance only; every vaper is unique and may reconsider their nicotine level based on their throat sensation and the device used.
E-cigarette: nicotine salt e-liquids pair perfectly with small pod-type models requiring little power such as the Wenax M2 by GeekVape, the Q16 Pro Kit by Justfog or the Kiwi 2 Kit by Kiwi Vapor.
Pod: Innokin Klipse Pro Kit and the Aspire Pixo Kit.
Clearomizer: nicotine salts pair very well with MTL models such as the Zenith 2 by Innokin, the Q16 Pro by Justfog or the Nautilus 3S by Aspire.
Coil: it is ideal with coils between 1.8 ohm and 1.2 ohm.
Drip tip: a standard 510 format drip tip is preferred, rather narrow and elongated, which channels all the flavors.
A nicotine salt e-liquid is suitable for power levels under 20 watts.
To ensure a long lifespan and optimal performance for your e-cigarette, regular maintenance is crucial:
If you do not smoke, do not vape :)
This product containing nicotine is prohibited for minors, pregnant women, and people with cardiovascular problems or high blood pressure.
In case of allergies: check for the possible presence of allergens in the composition (limonene, tree nuts, etc.), listed on the product label.
In case of skin contact: the pharmaceutical nicotine contained in e-liquids may be a skin irritant for sensitive individuals. In case of contact with a large area of skin, rinse thoroughly with water and soap.
Storage of your e-liquids: store your e-liquids in a dry place, away from light and temperature changes. Also keep out of reach of children and pets.
In the interest of environmental responsibility and recycling, we would be grateful if you could dispose of empty bottles in the appropriate bins.

An e-liquid (or liquid for electronic cigarettes) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an electronic cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is composed of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It determines the taste, throat sensation, cloud production, and overall vaping experience.
An e-liquid generally contains four elements:
Some formulas also use alternative plant-based bases (Végétol) for added smoothness.
An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who wish to replace traditional cigarettes. Nicotine acts on the feeling of satisfaction and helps reduce cravings. Nicotine-free e-liquids are used either at the end of a cessation programme or purely for the pleasure of vaping, although it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine level is essential to avoid a poor experience (irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. A level that is too low can lead to frustration and relapse, while a level that is too high can cause throat discomfort. The goal is to find the right balance between throat hit, sensation and vaping comfort, adjusting gradually as needed. As a general guide, a low dosage of 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine is recommended for light or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml nicotine salt for heavy smokers (1 pack of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted depending on your e-cigarette and your vaping style.
Nicotine salt is a more stable form of nicotine that is smoother to inhale. It provides rapid absorption with a less harsh throat hit, even at high levels. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly well suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers and low-wattage MTL kits. Nicotine salts are available in various strengths. The most well-known and effective is 20 mg/ml, highly suited to heavy smokers. However, a 10 mg/ml strength can work very well for a regular or occasional smoker.
A nicotine shot is a concentrated nicotine bottle, designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine level according to the quantity added. Flexible and economical, this solution allows you to boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine shot will give you 3 mg/ml, while two nicotine shots will transform your e-liquid into 6 mg/ml.
The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerine ratio strongly influences the vaping experience.
The choice therefore depends on the wattage and compatibility with your e-cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Well-balanced, it allows versatile use across MTL, RDL and light DTL e-cigarette models (between approximately 15 and 40 watts).
Vegetable-base or Végétol e-liquids replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers who are sensitive to PG, and offer a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL mode at low power (minimum 30 watts) to avoid the risk of leaks and preserve the quality of the product.
Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally contain no nicotine. They offer a different sensation, focused on relaxation, with no addictive effect. They should be used at moderate power to preserve the quality of the product. We recommend using them with a tight-draw MTL e-cigarette.
E-liquids are considered a much healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated from ingredients certified as safe for health, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as purchasing your e-liquid from a recognised retailer like Le Vapoteur Discount, or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and regulated brands.
An e-liquid manufactured in France meets strict requirements and European directives regarding traceability, quality control and safety. A guarantee of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formula and are required to have this formulation assessed by an independent laboratory before going to market. All these steps ensure e-liquids that are safe for vapers. These French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.
To keep your e-liquid for as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste and colour, store it in its original bottle, ideally away from light, heat and air. Despite these precautions, the e-liquid may sometimes take on a slightly brown tint. Safe and suitable for consumption, this colour is due to the oxidation of nicotine and may also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally advised not to leave the same e-liquid in your clearomiser or pod cartridge for more than 5 days if you are not using it, to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.
The BBD (Best Before Date) or MHD (Minimum Durability Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and its appearance (colour, consistency). An e-liquid fresh from the factory will have a BBD of approximately 2 years. Even past the BBD, the e-liquid remains suitable for vaporisation and will not be harmful to health.
