iStick TC 40W operation

The iStick 40W model offers two operating modes: variable wattage mode (VW) and temperature control mode (TC). To easily switch between the two modes, Eleaf has installed an additional button located between the "+" and "-" buttons — simply press it for about 2 seconds to change.

To increase or decrease the power or temperature (depending on the selected mode), press the upper or lower triangular button.

The iStick 40W TC also offers a "stealth" mode (Stealth mode), which turns off the screen during use. To activate / deactivate it, press and hold the "Fire" button and the "-" button simultaneously.

To lock the resistance value in temperature control mode, press Fire and "+" simultaneously for a few seconds.

To lock / unlock the Fire button, click 5 times quickly.

iStick 40W TC allows you to lock the settings by pressing the "+" and "-" buttons at the same time for a few seconds. The Fire button remains active, but the box can no longer be accidentally adjusted due to accidental pressure on the other buttons.

How to recharge the iStick TC 40W battery?

The iStick is rechargeable via a USB-C port. You can vape even while it is charging! For even faster charging, the iStick supports charging with a "1A" wall adapter.

FAQ

The battery, often called a box mod, is the heart of the e-cigarette. It provides the energy needed to heat the coil and produce vapour. Box mods allow you to manage power, battery life, and sometimes different vaping modes. There are mainly two types: box mods with built-in batteries and box mods with removable batteries, depending on the power source used.

A box mod with a built-in battery has a non-removable battery, rechargeable via USB. It is easy to use, compact and ideal for everyday vaping without any hassle. A box mod with removable batteries runs on one or more removable cells (18650 or 21700). It offers greater battery life, power and flexibility, but requires a good understanding of battery safety rules.

The numbers correspond to the physical format of the battery cell.
  • 18650 cells are the most common, versatile and compatible with many boxes.
  • 21700 cells are more recent, offer better battery life and support higher power outputs.
The choice depends on the box used and the type of vaping experience sought.

The choice depends on several criteria: the required wattage, the desired battery life, the type of clearomiser used and the vaper's level of experience. Moderate vaping will suit an integrated battery perfectly, while more intense vaping will require a box mod with removable batteries to ensure performance and endurance.

No, provided you follow the essential safety rules: use quality batteries in good condition, suited to the wattage used, and opt for an external charger. Modern box mods incorporate numerous electronic protections that make them safe to use when handled correctly.

Le Vapoteur Discount offers a carefully selected range of built-in battery mods and 18650 or 21700 battery mods from brands renowned for their reliability. With competitive prices, models for every type of vaper, and detailed product pages, you can be confident you're choosing a battery that suits your needs.
