FAQ
A battery (accu) is a removable rechargeable battery used in certain electronic cigarette mods. The most common batteries are the 18650 and 21700. They provide the energy needed to power the mod and offer a long battery life, particularly appreciated by regular and experienced vapers.
The difference lies mainly in the format and capacity.
18650 batteries are the most common and compatible with many box mod models.
21700 batteries are larger and generally offer better battery life as well as a higher discharge capacity, ideal for powerful vapes.
An external battery charger provides more stable, more balanced, and safer charging than charging directly in the mod. It extends battery life and reduces the risks associated with overheating or incomplete charging. It is a highly recommended accessory for any mod that operates with removable batteries.
Yes, most electronic cigarettes can be charged via USB. However, for box mods with removable batteries, using a dedicated external charger is preferable to preserve the batteries and ensure optimal charging, especially with daily use.
It is essential to use quality batteries, in good condition, with no signs of wear or damage to the casing. Batteries must be transported in suitable plastic or silicone cases only, never exposed to heat, and always charged with compatible equipment. Following these rules ensures safe use.
Le Vapoteur Discount only selects reliable 18650 and 21700 batteries and secure chargers, compliant with vaping standards. Thanks to competitive prices, a wide choice and products suited to all vaper profiles, you benefit from safe, durable and high-performing equipment.
