FAQ
A battery is a removable rechargeable cell used in certain e-cigarette box mods. The most common batteries are the 18650 and the 21700. They provide the energy needed to power the box mod and offer excellent battery life, which is particularly appreciated by regular and experienced vapers.
The difference lies primarily in size and capacity. 18650 batteries are the most common and compatible with many box mod models. 21700 batteries are larger and generally offer better battery life as well as a higher discharge capacity, ideal for high-powered vapes.
An external battery charger provides a more stable, balanced and secure charge than charging directly in the box mod. It extends the lifespan of the batteries and reduces the risks associated with overheating or an incomplete charge. It is a highly recommended accessory for any box mod that uses removable batteries.
Yes, most e-cigarettes can be charged via USB. However, for box mods with removable batteries, using a dedicated external charger is preferable in order to preserve the batteries and ensure optimal charging, especially with daily use.
It is essential to use quality batteries in good condition, with no signs of wear or tears to the wrapping. Batteries must be transported in suitable plastic or silicone cases only, never exposed to heat, and must always be charged with compatible equipment. Following these rules ensures safe use.
Le Vapoteur Discount selects only reliable 18650 and 21700 batteries and secure chargers that meet vaping standards. With competitive prices, a wide choice and products suited to all types of vapers, you benefit from equipment that is safe, durable and high-performing.
