FAQ
A puff is a simplified electronic cigarette, designed to be used immediately, with no settings or complex handling. Unlike a standard vape kit, it requires neither coil changes nor power adjustments. It is aimed primarily at smokers and vapers looking for a simple, quick and accessible solution, as close as possible to the gesture of smoking a cigarette.
The puff appeared in the late 2010s to meet a clear need: to allow smokers to discover vaping without any technical constraints. Its success comes from its extreme simplicity, its compact format and its low entry price, particularly in tobacconists and convenience retail outlets. The puff allows you to try vaping without committing to more expensive equipment.
Disposable vapes were banned in early 2025 mainly for environmental reasons. Throwing away a complete device (battery + electronics) after use posed a major ecological problem. This ban pushed the market to evolve towards rechargeable vapes, which are more durable and responsible. Today, manufacturers are competing in ingenuity to offer the most long-lasting and rechargeable vapes possible.
The operation remains deliberately simple:
- the battery is recharged via USB-C,
- the liquid is contained in a cartridge or a tank,
- inhalation is automatic.
Cartridge puffs offer maximum convenience: no refilling, quick change of flavour or nicotine.
Refillable puffs generally offer greater liquid and puff capacity, with a better price-to-duration ratio, but require a minimum of handling to fill the tank and must be replaced entirely when the coil is worn out.
The duration depends on the number of puffs advertised (6K, 10K, 15K, 30K, 50K, 100K…) and your usage. A 30K puff can last several weeks for a moderate vaper, while heavy use will naturally reduce this duration.
The choice depends on your profile:
With nicotine (often in nicotine salts): to replace the cigarette and avoid cravings.
Without nicotine: for vapers at the end of their quit journey or to enjoy the flavours only.
Brands like Liquideo, Elfbar or E.Tasty offer excellent nicotine-free puffs.
The majority of puffs use nicotine salts, which are smoother on the throat.
20 mg/ml: heavy smokers or strong dependence (Puff JNR, Tornado…).
6 to 10 mg/ml: moderate smokers (Al Fakher, some Tornado).
0 mg/ml: nicotine-free.
The puff is considered significantly less harmful than cigarettes, as there is no combustion. The puffs selected at Le Vapoteur Discount comply with European standards and use controlled e-liquids.
Among the most popular brands, you will find Puff JNR, Puff Tornado, Wpuff Liquideo, Elfbar, Pulp, Kiwi Vapor, Vuse, Veev, Vaporesso, Ma Petite Vape, Adalya and Al Fakher.
The JNR puff stands out for its price/quantity ratio, its robust batteries and its models offering up to 50,000 puffs. Some versions even feature interchangeable cartridges to extend the product's lifespan.
Yes, several brands offer puffs with French e-liquids, such as Liquideo (Wpuff), Pulp, FPS, E.Tasty or Fighter X, with an emphasis on aromatic quality and compliance.
The price of a puff varies depending on the brand, the number of puffs and the system (cartridges or refillable). Rechargeable models generally offer a better cost per puff than older disposable puffs.
At Le Vapoteur Discount, you benefit from a wide choice of rechargeable puffs, competitive prices, tiered offers and a rigorous selection of brands. Whether you are looking for a JNR puff, a Tornado puff, a nicotine-free puff or a long-lasting model, the catalogue covers all profiles and all uses.
