Box mod capabilities and features
Aegis Legend 3 Box Mod
To turn on your box mod, simply press the Switch button 5 times. The box mod operates with 2 18650 batteries (not included). This box mod offers long battery life and enables your device to reach a maximum power of 200W. The batteries are easily inserted underneath the box mod by opening the dedicated flap.
Geek Vape has equipped the Aegis Legend 3 box mod with a 5V/3A fast-charging function. When your device is low on battery, we strongly recommend charging your batteries in a suitable charger. Alternatively, in an emergency, simply connect it using the supplied USB-C cable.
Chipset
The new Aegis Legend 3 box mod from Geek Vape features the latest AS Chip 4.0 chipset, introducing advanced features including the brand's innovative Memory mode. This mode lets you save up to five of your favourite vaping settings, making it much easier to switch between your different configurations! Geek Vape has thought of everything to improve your vaping sessions.
The AS Chip 4.0 chipset also guarantees constant power at all times, ensuring optimum performance even when the battery is low, while preserving flavours perfectly.
The major innovation of the Aegis Legend 3 box mod is its new ultra-smart locking system. This mechanism, called “touch lock” on the box mod, lets you unlock the device simply by picking it up and then pressing the Switch button. This technology features a hand-recognition sensor on the back of your box mod. The brand has truly surpassed itself in innovation with this new version of the Aegis Legend range.
Geek Vape still offers a standard locking option, activated by pressing the Switch button several times, for those who prefer the classic version—there is something for everyone. However, unlike the previous version, the Aegis Legend 3 box mod no longer has a sliding lock button.

FAQ
The battery, often called a box mod, is the heart of the e-cigarette. It provides the energy needed to heat the coil and produce vapour. Box mods allow you to manage power, battery life and sometimes different vaping modes. There are mainly two types: box mods with an integrated battery and box mods with removable batteries, depending on the type of power supply used.
A box mod with an integrated battery has a non-removable battery, rechargeable via USB. It is simple to use, compact and ideal for everyday vaping without any hassle. A box mod with removable batteries runs on one or more removable cells (18650 or 21700). It offers greater battery life, power and flexibility, but requires a good understanding of the safety rules related to battery cells.
The numbers correspond to the physical format of the battery cell.
- 18650 cells are the most common, versatile and compatible with many box mods.
- 21700 cells are more recent, offer better battery life and support higher power levels.
The choice depends on the box mod used and the type of vaping you are looking for.
The choice depends on several criteria: the power required, the desired battery life, the type of clearomiser used and the vaper's level of experience. Moderate vaping will be perfectly suited to an integrated battery, whilst more intense vaping will require a box mod with removable batteries to ensure performance and endurance.
No, provided you follow the essential safety rules: use quality batteries, in good condition, suited to the power being used, and favour an external charger. Modern box mods incorporate many electronic protections that make them safe to use when used correctly.
Le Vapoteur Discount offers a carefully selected range of box mods with integrated batteries and box mods with 18650 or 21700 removable batteries, from brands recognised for their reliability.
