How to use DIY concentrated flavouring correctly
A concentrated flavouring is an ingredient used to make your own e-liquid, or DIY (“Do It Yourself”). It must never be vaped neat: it must be diluted in a neutral base of propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerine (VG), with or without nicotine. DIY lets you freely choose the flavour, PG/VG ratio and nicotine strength of your e-liquid.

The DIY Pack provides 200 ml of 50/50 PG/VG nicotinised base in a 250 ml graduated bottle, leaving 50 ml of free space for adding concentrated flavouring. The bottle markings allow you to measure the flavouring without a syringe or pipette. It is available in neutral or cool versions, in 3, 6, 9 or 12 mg/ml:

How do you measure DIY concentrated flavouring?
The dosage is expressed as a percentage of the final volume and varies according to the manufacturer: it is stated on the label or product page for each flavouring.
Amount of flavouring required according to the recommended dosage and final e-liquid volume, and amount to add to the 200 ml base in the DIY Pack:

The 50 ml of free space in the DIY Pack can accommodate flavouring dosed at up to 20%. The base ratio also influences the result: in a PG-rich base (70/30 or 80/20), which enhances flavours, the dosage can be reduced by a few points; in a VG-rich base (30/70), which softens them, it can be increased slightly. Steeping
The resting time allows the flavours to blend and develop. It depends on the type of flavour:

These times are indicative: some flavourings are ready to vape as soon as they are mixed, while others benefit from a longer resting period. Write the preparation date on each bottle.

Usage and storage precautions
- A concentrated flavouring must never be vaped neat: it must always be diluted in a PG/VG base.
- Handle nicotine boosters with gloves; in the event of skin contact, rinse thoroughly with soap and water.
- Products prohibited for minors. Once nicotine has been added, e-liquid is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or for people with cardiovascular conditions or high blood pressure.
- If you have allergies, check for any allergens listed on the flavouring label.
- Keep flavourings, bases and preparations closed, in a dry place away from light and heat, out of the reach of children and animals. Write the manufacturing date and ingredients on each bottle.
Remember to recycle: empty bottles should be taken to suitable collection points.
