The Vapoteur Discount guide for your 50 ml e-liquid

Advantage of the 50 ml nicotine-free bottle

An e-liquid is a consumable exclusively for e-cigarettes. The 50 ml format is ideal for regular vapers looking for an excellent value for money. This large format allows for longer vaping sessions without having to restock. Packaged in a "ready-to-boost" format, this e-liquid contains no nicotine at purchase, but has enough space to add one or two nicotine boosters to transform it into 3 mg/ml or 6 mg/ml.

Practical, economical, flexible and easy to carry, the 50 ml bottle is suitable for all vapers at 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml nicotine who want to fully enjoy their favourite flavour!

How do I add nicotine to my e-liquid?

50 ml nicotine-free e-liquids can be consumed without adding a nicotine booster. If you are an occasional or moderate smoker, we recommend adding one or two boosters to prepare your e-liquid at 3 or 6 mg/ml.

For a 3 mg/ml dosage:

  • Prepare your 50 ml bottle and a nicotine booster at 20 mg/ml;
  • Add and fully dissolve the nicotine booster inside the 50 ml bottle;
  • Close your 50 ml bottle (now 60 ml) and shake vigorously;
  • Wait 1 to 2 minutes before consuming your 3 mg/ml e-liquid.

For a 6 mg/ml dosage:

  • Prepare your 50 ml bottle and two nicotine boosters at 20 mg/ml;
  • Add and fully dissolve both nicotine boosters inside the 50 ml bottle;
  • Close your 50 ml bottle (now 70 ml) and shake vigorously;
  • Wait 1 to 2 minutes before consuming your 6 mg/ml e-liquid.

These bottles are designed to accommodate 1 to 2 nicotine boosters. However, if you want more nicotine in your recipe, we recommend using large 120 ml Chubby Gorilla bottles or a 120 ml graduated Twist bottle.

Choosing equipment for an e-liquid with a balanced PG/VG ratio (50/50)

E-cigarette: balanced PG/VG ratios are suitable for the majority of versatile e-cigarettes such as the CoolFire Z80 by Innokin, the Zelos M80 Kit by Aspire or the iStick T80 by Eleaf.

Pod: The Soul 2 Pod Kit by GeekVape and the Vibe SE by Vaporesso.

Clearomizer: versatile models such as the Zenith 2 by Innokin, the GTX18 by Vaporesso or the Zeus Nano 2 by GeekVape are compatible with a balanced PG/VG ratio.

Resistance: this ratio is ideal with resistances between 1.2 ohm and 0.4 ohm.

Drip tip: a standard 510 drip tip is preferred, but some vapers use it on airy 810 models without noticing any leaks.

Power setting

A balanced PG/VG ratio (50/50) can be suitable for a wide power range between 10 and 50 watts.

Regular maintenance

  • Clean your clearomizer and drip tip frequently to avoid the build-up of residue;
  • Replace coils as soon as you notice a deterioration in taste and a decrease in performance (on average every 2 to 3 weeks);
  • Avoid leaving your tank full with the same e-liquid for more than 5 days without using it (risk of leaks, flavour deterioration).

Usage precautions

If you don't smoke, don't vape :)

This product containing nicotine is prohibited for minors, pregnant women, and people with cardiovascular problems or high blood pressure.

In case of allergies: check for the presence of potential allergens in the composition (limonene, tree nuts, etc.), listed on the product label.

In case of skin contact: the pharmaceutical nicotine contained in e-liquids can be an irritant for the skin of sensitive individuals. In case of contact with a large skin surface area, rinse thoroughly with water and soap.

Storage of your e-liquids: store your e-liquids in a dry place, away from light and temperature changes. Also keep out of reach of children and your pets.

In the interest of environmental respect and recycling, we would be grateful if you could dispose of empty bottles in the appropriate bins.

FAQ

An e-liquid (or liquid for e-cigarettes) is the product that generates vapour when heated by the coil of an e-cigarette. Unlike traditional cigarettes, there is no combustion. The e-liquid is composed of a base (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine), flavourings, and optionally nicotine. It is what determines the taste, throat sensation, cloud production, and the overall vaping experience.

An e-liquid generally contains four elements:

  • propylene glycol (PG), which carries the flavours, enhances the throat hit and provides a sensation close to that of a cigarette;
  • vegetable glycerine (VG), responsible for the vapour and cloud density;
  • flavourings, which provide the taste (fruit, mint, classic tobacco, dessert, ice…);
  • nicotine, optional, which helps manage cravings in vapers who are quitting.

Some formulas also use alternative vegetable bases (Végétol) for extra smoothness.

An e-liquid with nicotine is intended for vapers who wish to replace traditional cigarettes. Nicotine acts on the feeling of satisfaction and helps manage cravings. Nicotine-free e-liquids are used either at the end of the cessation process or purely for the pleasure of vaping, although it is not recommended to vape if you are not a smoker. Choosing the right nicotine level is essential to avoid a bad experience (irritation or cravings). The nicotine dosage depends on your previous cigarette consumption. A light smoker will not have the same needs as a heavy smoker. A level that is too low can lead to frustration and relapse, while a level that is too high can cause throat discomfort. The aim is to find a balance between hit, sensation and vaping comfort, adjusting gradually as needed. A low dosage of 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine is generally recommended for light or occasional smokers (fewer than 7 cigarettes per day), and a high dosage of 20 mg/ml nicotine salt for heavy smokers (1 packet of cigarettes or more). However, this dosage can be adjusted depending on your e-cigarette and the way you vape.

Nicotine salt is a more stable and smoother form of nicotine to inhale. It provides rapid absorption, with a less harsh throat hit, even at high strengths. Nicotine salt e-liquids are particularly suited to beginner vapers, former heavy smokers, and low-powered MTL kits. Nicotine salts come in various strengths. The most well-known and effective is 20 mg/ml, which is ideal for heavy smokers. However, a 10 mg/ml strength can work very well for regular or occasional smokers.

A nicotine booster is a nicotine-concentrated bottle designed to be added to a large-format e-liquid. It allows you to adjust the final nicotine strength depending on the quantity added. Flexible and cost-effective, this solution lets you boost your large-format e-liquid to 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For a 50 ml e-liquid, adding one nicotine booster will give you 3 mg/ml, while two nicotine boosters will turn your e-liquid into a 6 mg/ml.

The propylene glycol / vegetable glycerine ratio has a strong influence on the vaping experience.

  • An e-liquid rich in propylene glycol or PG (70/30, 80/20) enhances the throat hit, flavour precision, and provides a discreet vape. The e-liquid will be thin and only compatible with MTL equipment with a tight draw to avoid leaks.
  • An e-liquid rich in vegetable glycerine or VG (30/70) produces more vapour and clouds, with a smoother, sweeter sensation. This thicker e-liquid will be compatible with sub-ohm or shisha-style e-cigarettes, producing large vapour clouds at high wattage.

The choice therefore depends on the wattage and compatibility with your e-cigarette. If in doubt, the most common ratio remains 50/50 PG/VG. Balanced, it allows versatile use across MTL, RDL, and light DTL e-cigarette models (between approximately 15 and 40 watts).

E-liquids with a vegetable base or containing Végétol replace traditional propylene glycol. They are often gentler on the throat, better tolerated by vapers who are sensitive to PG, and offer a smoother vape without compromising on flavour. However, they should be used in MTL mode at low wattage (minimum 30 watts) to avoid the risk of leaks and to preserve the quality of the product.

Yes, CBD e-liquids are designed for vaping and generally contain no nicotine. They offer a different sensation, focused on relaxation, with no addictive effect. They should be used at moderate wattage to preserve the quality of the product. It is recommended to use them with an MTL e-cigarette with a tight draw.

E-liquids are considered a far healthier alternative to smoked tobacco. They are formulated using ingredients certified as safe for health, unlike the 7,000 harmful substances found in traditional cigarettes. Nevertheless, to choose a safe e-liquid, a few precautions should be taken, such as purchasing your e-liquid from a recognised retailer like Le Vapoteur Discount, or checking the composition and origin by favouring reputable and regulated brands.

An e-liquid manufactured in France meets strict requirements and European directives regarding traceability, testing and safety. As a guarantee of quality and transparency for the consumer, French and European brands generally have their own laboratory for developing their e-liquid formulas and are required to have those formulas assessed by an independent laboratory before going to market. These steps ensure that e-liquids are safe for vapers. French and European quality standards prohibit undesirable substances and provide a more secure framework for vaping.

To keep your e-liquid for as long as possible and preserve its quality, taste and colour, it should be stored in its original bottle, ideally away from light, heat and air. Despite these precautions, the e-liquid may sometimes take on a slightly brown tint. This is harmless and safe to use — the colour is caused by the oxidation of nicotine and may also depend on the flavouring used in the e-liquid. It is generally advisable not to leave the same e-liquid in your clearomiser or pod cartridge for more than 5 days if you are not using it, to avoid leaks and excessive oxidation.

The BBD (Best Before Date) or MHD (Minimum Durability Date) is an indicative date. Once the e-liquid's date has passed, it may lose its taste qualities and appearance (colour, consistency). An e-liquid fresh from the factory will have a BBD of around 2 years. Even past its BBD, the e-liquid remains suitable for vaping and will not be harmful to health.
