But what is a dry burn, you ask?! A dry burn is a method consisting of firing your e-cigarette without any liquid (i.e. a dry fire). Its purpose is simple: to burn and destroy residues of vegetable glycerin, propylene glycol, and cotton, all three of which are responsible for fouling your coil.

To perform a perfect dry burn, follow these steps:

1. Remove the atomizer from your e-cigarette
2. Separate the atomizer from it to have full access to the build deck
3. Using your brush, remove the burnt cotton from the pg-vg base
4. Press the mod box to heat the coil and the e-cigarette vapor and destroy the liquid residue
5. Wait for the coil to cool down and clean it by running it under a stream of water
6. Let it dry before reinserting it into your e-cigarette
7. Repeat step 4 and insert a new cotton wick
